Ice,

As you had protected intercourse, you did not have a risk of infection in the first place and so yes, your test result is conclusive. Only if you had unprotected intercourse would you need to test again at 12-13 weeks for a conclusive result.

Keep using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will  continute to avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple! Please read through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use those condoms with confidence.

You had no risk and your tests show that you are hiv negative.

Ice,

There is no need for you to test again. Believe your result and get on with your life.

Fondly,

Ice,

Just to reinforce what Matty said, you do not need to test again. You didn't have a risk and so your test result is conclusive.

You are hiv negative. Continue using condoms and you will continue to avoid hiv infection.

PS Also, just for your information whether you ejaculated or not is totally irrelevant in terms of any risk to you.

The key detail is that you used a condom. They provide very effective protection so just keep doing that everytime you have intercourse.

Cheers,

Ice, I am wondering if you have taken the time to read the lessons on Transmission and Testing, links to which you can find in the Welcome thread that begins this section.

If you had read them, and you should still do so now, you'd know that you were not at risk for HIV in this incident.  Condoms provide very effective protection so as far as intercourse is concerned  you were covered figuratively and literally. The other activities were not risky.

There was no need for HIV testing and certainly not for any further testing.

In general we do recommend that anyone who's sexually active should regularly have a full STD panel. That means at least annually and every six months is even better. There are other STDs out there which are much easier to get than HIV.

But as far as HIV is concerned in relation to this incident there's no cause for further concern.

Only after writing this response did I see you had previous threads. Please don't start a new thread everytime you have another thought or question. It helps readers to see the exchanges and follow the continuity.

Discuss whatever it is that is troubling you with your doctor, Ice. We can't evaluate or diagnose whatever it is here.

All we know is you don't have an HIV problem.
