"straight guys"
« on: August 09, 2007, 02:16:22 pm »
I am a 43 year old gay Man.  When people ask me when I came out, I tell them I have never been in.  I'm not flaming, I'm not a super stud, I'm just me.

What the hell is all this crap going on with all these guys who are fucking men, sucking men, being sucked by men& getting fucked by men  saying they are STRAIGHT ???

I see it on a lot of message boards, hook up sites and even met a couple in person?

One post said  "str8 dude looking to fuck  & be fucked by other str8 dudes, str8 only!"  WTF????????????????

Can anybody chime in here on what the fuck is going on?  ???

IMO opinion if a dude is taking  or giving his cock to another dude in any way, the dude is not straight!

Maybe I'll have to become straight to get some.

I know what your sayin' here. I had a weird experience  @ one of the city parks here a few weeks ago. iwas out walking my dogs around the lake & sat down to watch the sun set. This guy came up and started  talking to me. I noticed he had a wedding band  on his finger.  He started asking me what I was into & if i was interested in fuckin' him. I asked if he was married  & he said yes.  I excused myself, walked back to the car . he followed me  all over town for about 45 minutes.

There is a dubious allure in "str8" guys, who in my generation were called trade. Remember the old saying "yesterday's trade is tomorrow's competition"?

Then there's that odious, self-loathing phrase "straight acting & appearing", by which gay men try to avoid being labeled effeminate. Give 'em a couple of highballs and their wrists suddenly go flapping, just like the paleoclones of yore.

Seriously, I'll give these guys the benefit of the doubt and say that they're bisexual. Human sexuality is a patchwork of color, not all black and white.

hehe i like messing around with "str8" guys....

well obviously they arent straight but i like catching the "curious" guys attention, afterwards you feel such a sense of satisfaction/accomplishment especially if i met them at a str8 club :-D

i think when they are online saying "straight" guys i think most of them are in the closet living a straight life(in public eye) even though they are gay or bi....so they want to meet other straight guys with girlfriends so they can go "fishing" or "camping" and fuck around brokeback mountain style...

IMHO all of them were not sincere with themselves in a first place.................and it is the hardest thing to do..........to stand in front of a mirror and say , admit to your self that you love to be with another male figure ...............at that point the outerworld doesn`t seem to be relevant at all.............but it is my ignorant opinion.....

I think there might also be an HIV aspect to this.  As in "str8 = less likely to be positive".

I like dating "str8" guys, too. Where I live, we have a very active student/alternative/leftist/punk scene, and the blokes in their late 20ies, early 30ies are all extremely curious as to what's on the other side of the door, especially when it comes to "discussing" (=exploring) sexuality. I'm one of the few open gays in this scene which comes very handy because they turn to me when they want to explore their limits. They're not labelling themselves as gay or bisexual or heterosexual, I think they would consider themselves as "kinda open-minded metrosexuals". Anyways, I usually play the "str8" game with them because that's what they like and I don't care as long as I have my fun. So, I give them the impression that they seduce me when in fact, the opposite is true. Of course, we all know this, so it's all fun and games.

I exaggerated slightly.  But it was definitely by 14 when I was wacking off daily to mental images of Kevin Smallwood (and it wasn't small either!)

Speaking for myself I was referring to more of a self-acceptance of the label "gay,"  not the age when I first started checking out boys.  I'm not sure I can remember that far back, but I do recall looking in elementary school at the men's underwear section in my mother's Sears catalogue and not the women.

I think it is a combination of all of the above.  So many gay men fantasize about being with str8 guys.  I wonder how many completely gay men play straight to capitalize on those "str8 acting" gays looking for a hookup to match their fantasy of being with a straight guy.

When it comes to sex I don't care what they call themselves as long as I am getting what I want.  But when it comes to a relationship, leave the straight, married, curious, bisexual, drunk, questioning guys at home and give me a 100% GAY man!

Kevin Smallwood's locker was on the other side of Suzy's in middle school. Mine was next to Suzy.  As this was the late 70's, Kevin ALWAYS wore skin tight jeans with his large gonads pushed down the left inner leg so I could see them plain as day in between classes.  Well, on those rare days when his truancy problem was not interfering.  I think he was about 2 years older than the rest of us too but my he was well hung.  Total 120% redneck to boot.  There were rumors that he had sex with the chorus teacher in 8th grade.

I've always thought that 'str8' in that context meant that they were married or just very closeted and didn't want to be 'seen' with any really flaming, queeny types.  On the other hand, a very butch man, whether str8 or gay, can be so hot!

I always get a big laugh out of this topic as well.  Especially when some guy who is finally coming to terms with his homosexuality pvts me on gay.com, and tells me he is not gay yet, just curious.  Here is what I tell them.

If you have any sexual attraction whatsoever to someone of the same gender, you are a homosexual. Period.
It does not matter if you just like looking, or only interested in certain activites, or definitely not interested in certain activities.  You are a homosexual.  Pitcher, Catcher, Pinch Hitter, Short Stop, Outfielder, or Spectator, a homosexual is someone attracted to their own gender. Period!
Someone who has never had a sexual encounter is a Virgin. Period. You can be a complete Virgin, or you can be a Virgin to gay sex.  A Virgin is a Virgin.  Period!
Needless to say, they hate being called a Virgin, and the self-defensiveness begins.

Anyway, I have found many of my co-workers, "forgetting" I am gay.  LOL  And every year we get a new set of nursing students, at which some point one of the young lasses will inquire about me, and I have to hope someone is working that day who knows that I am a pure masculine gay. Not str8 looking, not str8 acting. I am a GAY MAN, and damn Proud about it.     :-*

I always liked playing doctor with the neighbor boys.  I was fairly versatile for my age (6 years or so) - I could play the doctor as well as the patient!   ;D

I've said before and will say again:  Some kids played doctor.

I played specialist.

Hi Guys~

Jeffrey is out shopping right now.  He's gonna love reading this thread when he returns!

Please be sure to welcome him, and read his personal post in the Long-Term Survivors thread.  It took me awhile to convince him to get online here.  He didn't know what he was missing!

Its just me, his lil sis, helping him get acclimated here!   ;)

MUAH! Jeffrey, from your G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S girl!    :-*

I've always thought that 'str8' in that context meant that they were married or just very closeted and didn't want to be 'seen' with any really flaming, queeny types.  On the other hand, a very butch man, whether str8 or gay, can be so hot!

David

I appreciate masculinity as long as it's not forced or otherwise artificial. Working at the Ramrod, I see a lot of guys working it all a bit too much.

I've had a series of hook-ups with a Cuban guy lately, who showed me pictures of his daughter and granddaughter the night we met. He has this wonderful, off-handed casual masculinity that is delightfully appealing. He claims to have not bottomed for several years prior to our having met, but is fearless in withstanding my aggressive assaults (playful but pretty rough) and takes everything like a trooper.

Speaking of adolescent crushes, I had a serious thing for this guy named Billy Jackson. He wasn't much taller than me, had a bewitching ass which (in the early 70s) was always bouncing in tight jeans. We were in the same gym class from 7th through 9th grade and I got to see how me matured into a real slice of manboy pie. He was on the gymnastics team, baseball team and football team and was one muscular little devil. He was also very sweet and kind but a little dim. When he blew his mind out with drugs in the summer between 10th and 11th grade, his appeal didn't diminish one bit, although his IQ went from lowish to borderline functional.

Haven't thought of him in forever...

Child please... surely you should know that big fib by now, certainly from a Cuban.

I don't need excuses, Timberly, I'm an old-skool chain-smoking, free-balling insatiable slut. But summer does seem to bring out the voracious whore in me.

I sometimes I do wish it was clear cut for me but it's not always that straight forward unfortunately.   It's really hard to describe i'm sure someone else on here could do a better job.  I think my 'straight' housemate who I found out last week has kissed a few girls  :) put it best when she said she's just attracted to certain types of people male or female, why try pigeonhole anyone though? Thats the way it is for me I think, it can be confusing at times but mostly it's pretty good! I do find myself distracted A LOT though haha.
