The cow I just devoured fresh from the grill- loaded with all the fixins.

She was delicious.

Happy Labor Day- even to all you vegetarian types.  You don't know what you're missing.  :P

The pig I just consumed, fresh off the grill, is on her way to hog heaven.

Beef... it's what's for dinner!

BTW, you're photo was of a Holstein dairy cow, not beef cattle.   :P   I can be such a stickler for details.

For those of you who like fowl, I myself grilled up a bunch of doves, which I spent the weekend hunting with friends.  There are few things more frightening than a homo with a shotgun.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day.

Cheers,

I'm afraid I'm just going to have some run-of-the-mill hot dogs, TATER TOTS (YUM) and baked beans.

My photo was actually of a Pink Floyd album cover, but I get your point.

And Matty, I'm still doing cooking on the old stove which is down in the basement.  It's where lots of the appliances are...at least the working ones.  The ones what don't run anymore are out in the front yard, of course.  For now, I'm keeping the nice new one all clean for show when company comes.

I can't believe I'm just now starting to cook my Labor Day meal.  Thank goodness it will only take 15 minutes.  Wish I had some of that crack that was referenced in another thread though.

Those things really do make wonderful planters!  I was skeptical, but (as always) Mama knew best.

You know what else works?  Daddy's old bedpans in the window sills!

Just about anything will grow in there!

Harlen, don't you dare throw out that tractor tire. Here's another example of ol' lady Hunter's handiwork. Making use of Aunt Mattie Sue's final resting place.
