Fascinating insight is what it is. I wonder, who and what would they would be (as a people) without their guns, hatred and strange brutal rules.

I found the whole thing bizzar.

They ban Homosexuality but keep young boys as concubines.

They ban photography yet love dressing up with their make up, ladies sandles, holding hands and surround themselves with flowers.

It's almost as if they have added the guns as an after thought..a kind of  "lets at least try and look like hard men just in case anyone gets the wrong idea"...they put a ban on displaying anything with a face, then blatently disregard their own laws by posing for the camera.

I dealt on a business basis with many  Muslim/ Arabic/ Egyptian and other middle eastern persons and was often confronted with this type of behavior..sometimes in their countries and sometimes when they were in England on business......they frequently travelled in small groups  and sought out very young male companions.....they usually had an entourage of family with them when they traveled but the men went out without family to seek out young males......  I thought of it as more of a cultural issue than a homosexual issue.....they used the young ones as sort of "slaves" and did use them for "sex acts " as well...It seemed to fit well with the British custom of "buggering" the younger boys at boarding school

I've seen these before, and I have to say they're horribly fabulous.  I'd buy a coffee table book of these.

One could make a fortune eyebrow waxing or threading in Afghanistan.  I smell a franchise opportunity.
