« on: February 10, 2013, 04:13:23 pm »

1. how good are these test which are only W.H.O approvd at diagnosing h.i.v?
2. is there any illness that cause swollen glands upto 5 months other than h.i.v?
3. is it possible to test poz at 6 months following 5mnths negative?

Durban,

You are conclusively hiv negative. If you feel unwell, see a doctor. You have already ruled hiv out as a possible cause.

1. The tests you used are reliable. You do not have hiv.

2. Plenty. See your doctor to find out what is going on with you. We cannot diagnose you over the internet and we will not even try.

3. No.

You do not have hiv. You are conclusively hiv negative.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

It's flu season and you don't have an HIV concern.

Durban,

The only people who might take a little longer than three months are those who are currently on chemotherapy for cancer, currently on anti-rejection drugs following organ transplant, or those who have been injecting street drugs, every day, for years.

Even people who fall into those groups will test positive by three months.
