I need some advice, opinion, anything?

So this is going to be kinda long. So im having this HIV paranoia and all started one year ago. I met this guy, lets call him Bob, he was nice and all blah blah we had sex only once and without a condom, being me the bottom guy. So later on we started to fight and fall apart so we just cut off the relationship thingy we had going on. It was all good and i started seeing other guys and then i hear from them what a bad reputation Bob had. Hooking up and then leaving the guy and shit. So i started to worry i keep digging up and apparently there was a rumour tht he was HIV + so i freaked out and started to really understand the sittuation. As far as i know the rumor was started by an Ex of Bob so maybe it isnt true at all and just some sort of revenge. I still wasnt satified so after 6 months i text Bob again and asked him directly if he had HIV he said no and he started to ask who had told me this. He later found out that it was his Ex who was telling tht to everyone and later i saw in his twitter a message like "We need to talk now" and to his Ex.

I had no symptoms of what is called HIV accute but as far as i know those symptoms only appear in some cases, not in all of them.

So.... after a year i still havent done any tests or anything because of personal things. I still dont know for sure if he had or didnt had HIV because i never fully saw a test result. The last weeks ive been having a bad anxiety thinking on the subject and i just dont know what to think now. I havent had sex since that time because of the fear that i might infect someone... What are your thoughts?

Addittional details from the sex part:
-He didnt came inside me
-No condom thought
-His penis was kinda small so the chances of sores and cuts in the rectum could be less.

You can test for HIV at 6 weeks past any possible exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results .

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than HIV. Some of the other STDs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid HIV infection. It really is that simple!

Instead of fretting about someone else's hiv status, you need to get tested yourself. It never ceases to amaze me how people go on and on about someone else not knowing or proving their status when they don't even know their own status. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

As a sexually active adult you should be testing (as part of a FULL sexual health check up) at least once a year, twice if you're very active. This stuff about "still havent done any tests or anything because of personal things" doesn't wash here. You need to MAKE the time to go test.

In future you need to make sure you're using condoms if you want to stay (if you still are) hiv negative.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
