No surprise there but a negative test result is always a happy thing.

Hello,

I had been having safe sex with some csw in last 2 months and had always practiced safe sex using conforms but had an issue on March 18th where the lady did stripper slide i.e. she slid her vagina up and down my penis with no penetration whatsoever I was very clear about it and she said that she also doesn’t allow without condom but I had foreskin and there were no juices/Cum from either one of us.

Then she got on top and put condom and rode me but somewhere in between (could be due to vigorous shaking) the condom got stuck in her vagina and when I pulled my pens out the condom was hanging from her vagina .

What risk does this pose i.e. how long was I without condom or if my fore skin would have increased the risk.

She kept saying that she gets tested every 6 months but don’t know if I can believe her or not as when I asked for last results she kind of disappeared.

I had some cold/body pains / sore throat etc on March 20th so I took the hiv rna Test on March 21st and results came back negative (it was too early for this exposure) but I thought what the heck

Now today which is in 2nd week after supposed encounter I am having chills, body pains, fever, cold, congestion and sore throat.

I scheduled one more hiv rna test tomorrow along with other sti’s so what is my risk and before that incident I licked vagina of lot of csw(never let them cum), they did bare back blowjob to me and we had lot of deep kissing and also used condom every damn time so will any of these activities increased my risk(I don’t think so based on what I read) but would like a confirmation from experts.

Once I give test tomorrow I will get results either next Thursday evening or Friday and I am sure I will be nervous wreck til then.

Thanks

cold/body pains / sore throat etc

Nothing to do with HIV, HIV does not give you a sore throat, see your doctor and treat whatever is making you sick. Reading the 2 pages long thread of yours back  you have just about mentioned every symptom possible over the years and continue to test negative

We don't discuss symptoms here, please refrain from posting about them future . Most common symptom initially is none at all and if you ask me symptoms for the large part belong to the paranoid or pure coincidence nothing more than that.

This is not a risk, its not how HIV is transmitted.

Sounds to me like you pulled out and left the condom behind, no risk to that as long as the condom was covering your penis during the intercourse. That said i did not see what happened and you sound unsure

Test using an antibodies test at 6 weeks and 13 weeks post exposure. RNA tests are no shortcut, not a standalone test in the testing algorithm if used at all and still need standard conformation

If you insist on testing for peace of mind, the earliest you should test is at six weeks as the vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by this time. Where there has been an actual risk, a six week negative must be confirmed at the three month point.

Take some time to read back what people having been telling you for years.
Test if you must and than move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

Thanks Jim.

I unfortunately had booked a hiv rna test and they said hey can’t refund it so went ahead and got tested after 2 weeks and it came back negative.

I just had another question as the testing center said they have p24 antigen 4th gen Teat and it gives accurate results after 4weeks(when compared to 3rd gen which gives at 6weeks) so I assume I can get this done at 4 weeks for peace of mind
