hi guys ,i posted on medhelp today ,but i want to post here too,i had unprotected oral,vaginal and anal sex with a girl of unknown hiv status,tested negative at week 11 and 3 days ,really think i have neuropathy ,feeling my legs burning all the time ,my question is if i test at week 12 will this be conclusive or have to test at week 13

Nothing you are reporting is HIV-specific. Only an HIV test can give you the answer reliably about your HIV status.

In many countries 12 weeks is acceptable for testing. At either 12-13 weeks the result will be reliable.

You do need to learn from this experience. When you have unprotected anal and vaginal sex you are putting your health and your life at risk. It is just that stark and simple. You can have sex with anyone you want to. Just do it the safer way which mean using a condom everytime for intercourse.

so andy,if i test negative at week 12 i can put this behind me ,right:? i know it`s very stupid what i did and will never do it again

Yes, a negative at 12 weeks is conclusive EXCEPT if longterm intravenous drug use, organ transplant or treatment for cancer is involved. Assuming none of those apply to you, then if you test negative it means you have safely scooted by this time.

so andy,i get a test today day 85 negative ,should i make him again on day 90 to be on the safe side or this is ok ,what you think

85 days will be sufficient. You are HIV negative.

Not as hard as it could have been. Happy to hear about your negative result. Just use a condom everytime for intercourse and you will be well and effectively protected against sexual transmission of HIV.
