Very Concerned....
« on: September 27, 2006, 01:03:35 am »
Hi all,

I know my question might sound very stupid, but I just need some advice...
Well I had a little encounter last night, and I am not sure what to do.

I met a guy last night, I kissed, cuddled with him, and I got a blowjob from him, and he also rimmed me.
(I did not suck, rim, top or btm with him at all.)
I jerked off and came on my chest, and he also came on my chest as well.
Some of him cum might have got on my penis, but I wiped all of them off almost immediately.
I am pretty sure that no cum got on or inside my butt....
He says that he's clean and was tested 2 months ago, and had been only having protected sex with 3 partners.

I am kinda freaking out at this moment and I am just very concerned as to if I am at risk...
If so, do I need PEP? If not, what should I do?

I would appreciate any response....
A very very very concerned guy :(

Concerned,

There is absolutely no risk of HIV transmission from what you describe and you most certainly do not need Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP). What you do need is to read our Welcome Thread which contains links to the AIDSMEDS lessons on HIV transmission.

One other thing, all sexually active people should have a full STD screen at least twice a year. A full screen includes an HIV antibody test. If it's been a while since you're last full screen or if you've not had one before you might like to make an appointment with your doctor or local clinic.

Thank you Matty for your response. I think I am feeling better now.

Forgive my ignorance, but I am just curious, in case (cause it was quite dark in the room) if some of the semen got around the opening of my butt or my penis, do I need to be concerned at all?

P.S. I have been a good kid and I got tested like 3 weeks ago.... I get tested every 2 - 3 months. :D

Thanks!

I'll forgive you if you promise to read our Welcome Thread. ;)

To answer your substantive question, no you don't need to be concerned at all.
