Made a Trooper Twirl...
« on: June 01, 2013, 12:35:12 pm »
I must tell y'all about this:

Was in the car, windows down, with my goddaugther, her mother and my long time friend.

Put in an 80's disco CD and hit shuffle-play.

Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" came on first.

The music blasted from the 12-speaker sound system.

I am driving along and got to an intersection with a State Trooper in the other lane.

The song then switched to ABBA's "Dancing Queen".

We looked over and saw the Trooper tapping his fingers to the beat on the steering wheel and hunching his shoulders.

I waved at him, he smiled and waved back.

The light changed and we went our separate ways.

We, in our car, later fell out laughing.

I am still smiling as I type this.

 :D ;D

and I even enjoyed the movie.
it was a sappy happy thing.
(I doubt many in their 20's and 30's will come out of the ABBA closet tho. :-\.)

I love Dancing Queen!  When I hear it by rare chance on the radio, the volume always goes up.
