"Outliers" Drive Search for Cures - WSJ article
« on: October 21, 2009, 06:23:31 am »
Hi All, I saw this article in the Oct 20th online Wall Street Journal, thought it was very interesting. I'm recently tested pos and everything about  HIV, AIDS, vaccines, etc etc catches my eye. Its focusing on studying people who have various diseases that seem to be able to naturally control them (not just HIV). I've read the posting rules, so hope I'm doing this correctly.... here's the link to the article. If I've not done it correctly, would appreciate some help to sort me out, thank you.

More hope for all of us.......

Hello Esper,

Yes, you posted the link successfully...I just read the article.  Last week, I traveled to MGH to participate in Dr. Walker's study.

With so many pairs of AMG members' eyes scanning the internet for information, the Research News forum is a repository for all sorts HIV-related info.  Thank you for spying and posting it.

Esper,

Welcome to the research forum !

I liked your link. If they can find the key to elite controllers, that would open the door to at least a functional cure, if not an outright cure.

Glad to have you aboard.
