hi guys

pls can someone elucidate this issue for me 'cause,i don't know and really want to be clear on it.
so my question gose llike this,how can i know if, perhaps'my cd4 come back to negative. would i know hence i 'm possietive?
by God healing.

Not sure exactly what you are asking. Once you test positive, you will always be positive . The virus may be undetectable, by measuring standards, but you will always be positive.

When you test hiv positive, it means you've tested positive for hiv antibodies. Antibodies are produced by your body in response to an invader into your body, such as a virus or bacteria.

The viral load test looks for the actual virus in your body.

So yes, even if your viral load is undetectable, you will still test hiv positive with an antibody test.

I would also add that you can never have a "negative" CD4 count (also known as T-cells or helper T-cells). Everyone, even HIV negative people, have CD4 cells whose function is to assist the body in fighting infection. As Ann said, you may have an absence of antibodies or "negative" for antibodies, but you definitely will have CD4's.

thank you guys for the urgent reply 'appreciate, but i still want to say this ,how about fortunately by prayer someone get healing?how could he/she know by cd4 or viral load or what test could be done to find out?pls reply cause i believe in God's healing.as bible says in Exodus 15 vs 26 ,I AM THE LOED THAT HEALS YOU,and NAHUM 1 vs 9 SAYS ,WHAT DO YOU CONSPIRE AGAINST THE LORD,HE WILL MAKE THE UTTER ENDS OF IT,AFFLICTION SHALL NOT RISE UP A SECOND TIME,so believe me with this word claiming it we shall be heal.

No matter how much you believe in God or how much time you spend praying God is not going to cure you of HIV...only adhering to your meds will help you keep an undetectable Viral Load..so if you are on meds remember to keep taking them.

Didn't Jesus cure the lepers and awakened Lazarus from the dead ? Is there any chance of this happening again, or must we wait till hell freezes over ?

thanks Grass,i tell you those who believe shall be heal,so Annbiec,if you like carry hiv all your body without God kindness you must have been a dead person ,so have faith ok ,do not think like unbelievers,i believe oneday i'll send a testimony thread here.so thank you for misunderstanding the word of God.

Sanitex, to some degree I believe that there exist powers that are beyond our comprehension, however that they are able or willing to interfere in our wellbeing on earth, is a bridge too far for me. Hence my previous somewhat sarcastic remark.

It would seem your prayers for life were answered. The answer might be different from what you wanted or expected but isn't a pill that sustains life a miracle?!

There was this guy who was out in his dingy, fishing sea bass one day when an unexpected gale blew up. The poor bloke was capsized and the dingy sank. He tread water and prayed to his God to save him.

In a little while, another small dingy came by and the fisherman tried to help our God-fearing hero. "No!" said the man, "God will save me!"

Fifteen minutes later, a commercial fishing boat came by and threw him a life-ring. "No!" said the man, "God will save me!"

Twenty minutes after that, a RNLI Lifeboat came along side him. "We'll help you aboard!" they shouted. "No!" said the man, "God will save me!"

Ten minutes after that, the man entered the Pearly Gates. "God?" he asked, "why didn't you save me?"

"What did you want?" God Thundered. "I sent another fisherman like you, and you said 'No!'! I sent one of the big fishing boats, and you said 'NO!'! I sent the flaming RNLI and still you said 'No!'.... what more could I do?"

There's a bit more to the fisherman story that I didn't mention yesterday. Our God-fearing hero wasn't fishing alone - his atheist next-door-neighbour was with him. When the atheist found himself in the water, he rationally looked around and found he was close enough to swim to shore. He climbed up on the beach and shouted to his friend, who was facing out to sea, to turn around and swim. His friend couldn't hear him because he was praying to God so loudly.

As our hapless God-fearing hero drifted further and further from the shore, the atheist ran to raise the alarm, first sending a dingy, then a larger boat and finally, the RNLI... and the rest, as they say, is history.
