Eating horse meat
« on: September 09, 2006, 02:30:18 pm »
okay, so I find eating horse meat gross.  But I'm sure someone else would find eating alligator, snake, ostrich, pig and cow meat gross too.

Why is Congress wasting time banning the sale of horse meat, when there are other more important issues at hand?  Like the CIA now saying that Saddam hated Osama as much as we did, yet the government convinced the public that the two were in bed together!

I never considered any of my relatives as cows, but I do have some that are pigs.  ;)

Why you ask? Another diversion by the worst Congress ever. A Congress that spent a grand total of eighty days in session this year. A Congress that realizes America is sick of their shit. A Congress that will do anything to distract the voting public hoping to remain in power. A Congress that sold its soul to corporate interests.

Vote the bums out!

Dachs, this Congress didn't sell its soul because you can't sell what you don't have. And they wouldn't have done it to corporate interests because they ARE corporate interests. Just when you think we've hit bottom it seems there's always one step further down we can go in Washington.

As for the horsemeat issue, Cliff, Mafia-affiliated restaurants in NYC have been notorious for years in this department. "Gee, this steak tastes 'unusually' sweet!" Yah, and don't you wonder when it wheenies as you bite into it?

Thanks Andy, that explains why my steak could count.

I love horses....I tried horse meat...didn't much like it.
