"The Phantom of the Opera"...

Ed and I have never seen the "Phantom of the Opera",  For those that would like to see it,  I discovered this on You tube the other day. And we watched it last night.  FANTASTIC !!  We both really enjoyed this! The music, voices and the stage were phenomenal. The filming of this was amazing.!

This was the 25th anniversary of "The Phantom of the Opera", performed at  the Royal Albert Hall in 2011.  I just discovered this You Tube video, which was placed on the You tube site  March 22nd, 2014.

It's in HD, non stop,( except for a brief intermission) with Andrew Lloyd Webber, at the end,.. with the original cast. You have to watch it in it's entirety.

What I did was I connected my laptop through the HDMI cable to our flat screen, and we watched it on there. If you have a good internet connection there won't be any buffering. But it shows very well on the laptop as well.

It's 2 hours and 39 minutes long.

Enjoy ( We did )---Ray  8)

This was the very first musical I ever saw at the age of 15.  I was impressed to say the least.  I was sitting about 7 rows back and center.  In the production I saw the chandelier had a lot of pyrotechnics going on around it's reveal and it swung out over the audience.  I had no idea what to expect and the damn thing came right at me.  Fantastic show!  This is an awesome production from what I've already watched.  The show's music is awesome "Masquerade" being my favorite :)\

Edit: Oh and "The Music of the Night"...damn this brings back memories.

I saw this production in Chicago ... it was the dress rehearsal and very cool . My ASO in Chicago used to get tickets to all the big shows and give them to us so I got to see most all of them .

JRE, thanks for the link.  Wonderful!

Also, Nick Pitera does a Phantom medley of male/female singing parts. That's some talent!
