Not here. I am soo gay I cannot resist looking at the eyes of a lobster if it is alive, no mention on eating it.

I guess my best outdoors activity is the closest gay bar (which means I haven't got an outdoor life lately)

Hello,

I did some hunting , when I was much younger. Never really got into it though. I certainly have had my share of venison though, and I have eaten woodchuck. :P

Also did some Ice fishing on lake Erie, that was always an adventure. Also did some fishing up in Quebec, Canada, on several occasions, but that also was quite a few years ago. ( it's beautiful up there)

Every once in a while, Ed and I may get out in the Gulf of Mexico, on one of the fishing boats, for a 12 hour tour !! Reminds me of a song.... 8) The last time we were out, I think we both got green.The swells were pretty high that day.

Not any great fishing or hunting stories to tell though !!

I've fished- lake, fly and deep sea- but I've never fired a gun in my life. When I was 11 years old and at Boy Scout camp I had the opportunity to fire a shot gun. The first kid in my group was a couple of years older than I was and when he fired it knocked him on his ass and he was rolling around crying. I went back to leather craft!

Wilderness = insects.

Other than that I love a weekend in the great outdoors.  Plus it gives me a reason to shop from the J. Peterman catalogue.

My idea of a weekend out in the country is shopping at Dean & Deluca in East Hampton.

The only thing I actually like about living in Michigan is the outdoors..... although not hunting and fishing:  Mountain Biking, Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing, and JetSkiing.
Floating through the void in the caress of two giant pink lobsters named Esmerelda and Keith.

mmm. I walked right of the side of jetty once when I was fishing. I was way too busy trying to avoid my line getting tangled with my brothers at the time (he was bigger and would have hit me or something).

I don't believe in killing animals unless you plan to eat what you kill, but i do enjoy fishing; I'm a catch a release (for the most part) . I'm happy to say that i hold the record for 5 and a hafe pound crappie at JR marina in Lake Weiss Alabama. since i was 17 years old and now at the age of almost 37 , I almost broke a state record in Ga. by catching a 5 pound spotted bass over the fourth of July weekend 2007.(man it was good grilled; i didn't let that one go , it ended up as dinner for the night.) I don't believe in having the mounted either,you can always take a picture of it and let it go if you are not going to eat it. I fish almost every weekend(strange for a women, i know).
But I've always enjoyed being a tomboy/redneck as some with say ;D
