CVS Specialty Department

I have Caremarx Prescription Insurance.

They have pulled my prescription from Meijers so they could supply it through their pharmacy. This being said they left me without medication for a month and also are not compatible with ADAP in my state to pay the copay's. I said I can not afford my medications if I cant you ADAP. They said they would cover the copay because they were not compatible with ADAP, so they sent the medication to me for 3 months, with my mind set that they were covering the copay's as they confirmed on the phone. Today I receive a bill for three months of copay's and a letter saying they will not send me any medications until a 335.00 bill is paid. This doesn't even allow me to use my insurance else where. I do not have that money to pay them being now that they have made it more difficult for me to pay three months and not a month at a time. I have never been involved with such a horrible experience to get my medications, but this company doesn't understand the importance or need for my medication, God please bless me with a new insurance for my Employers New Insurance enrollment period.

Confused and Worried about my health.

Can someone please help!

welcome to the forum.
DO you have access to a social worker who can help you figure out a solution in your locality/state?

I agree with meech, you need to sit down with a social worker at a local AIDS service organization (ASO) because nothing you are relating with your situation vis-a-vis the interaction of ADAP and this private insurer makes any sense to me, not to mention these things tend to vary on a state by state basis anyway so it's difficult for us to offer anything but general ideas on an internet forum.

If you are willing to state where you live then someone here can possibly assist in telling you of an ASO.
