Title: I got the job!

I'm going from a paltry $24,000 a year to almost $30,000 a year.

Benefits!

I'm going from a shitty health plan to a lovely POS like I used to have. Plus 90 hours of vacation time a year. That doesn't include the sick leave, either.

French!

I'm going from helping out the occasional Quebecois person calling the wrong number to speaking with Francophone doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for a good portion of my day!

Schedule change!

I am no longer going to be working evenings! Mornings! Free evenings for me! I get to live like the other half for the first time since turning 18!
Huzzah!

I'm extremely fucking happy right now!

You're probably right.

Personally, I think it's "not doing drugs and not drinking so goddamn much." It's rather odd to be so conscious of oneself all the time, though. Plus, not being artifically sped up and having my serotonin levels buttressed to artifically high levels has led me to be a bit more sedate. It's nice, I suppose... feeling a little more grown up.

I also felt like I was spinning my wheels in my current job... the change will be good. Yes.

I looked but didn't see any noteworthy hotness.

Well, it's a 40 hour week... which beats the 50 hour week I work now.

And I get two weeks of vacation time a year... which is pretty sweet.

The company is based in Europe. ;)
