How do you take a screen capture of your desktop?
On a Mac you hit command+shift+3, not sure what the shortcut is on a PC.
alternatively you can just host the image elsewhere and post a link to it.
Uh, no that's not what I was talking about -- yours just seems like the image you're using for a desktop. It's not a true screen capture of your desktop like mine, with all of the icons, etc. You're just talking about image hosting.

I tried to folow the instructions in the link you posted Miss P but when I pressed the Print/Screen button nothing happened so I couldn't go any further.
wondered why it was there since it never seemed to do anything? Well, it does do something! It copies an image of your screen onto the "clipboard,"when you hit "print screen" it only seems as if nothing happens. there's no sound or notice; however a snapshot of your screen is taken. The print screen button works like ctrl-C when you copy something. You just needed to follow the next step of opening up a graphics program (like Ms Paint) and pasting the snapshot that was stored in the windows clipboard (that's the place where information is stored when you hit ctrl-C to copy) when you hit the button. then when you save the picture, make sure to set the FILE TYPE to JPG (that's right under the SAVE AS line)

I don't want to hi-jack Miss P's post but, I need a problem solving...if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
I download my photo's to Picasa, they have always dowloaded as a jpg file ..but for some reason they now come up as a npg file and I'm not sure why, is there anyway of getting them back to a jpg file when I down load them from my camera..hope that doesn't sound too confusing..thanks.

I figured out how to do it. However, I realized my pic may be considered inappropriate. I see it as art and not porn. I've seen other "art" pix posted here before. Will I get into trouble?

Well, I haven't gotten a scolding (so far), so that's good. I guess I need to change my desktop to the cute pic of my doc and post that.
Trey, it was a pic of a penis--a hard one at that. No sex act, but the male body. It was an accurate look at what my desktop looks like.

Exactly what I pictured in my mind's eye. Some male nude dressed up to be posh and artistic but in reality is just a naked dude with a "wistful" look on his face.

Now, I know I've seen naked pix posted here before--and videos. I actually saved some of them from here. The fisting video comes to mind. Maybe they were posted as links-- instead of in your face?? Okay, didn't mean to derail the thread. Let's see some more from other members. I do find it interesting what people are into and enjoy looking at.

Don't mean to get off the point of the thread, so I apologize in advance. I just wanted to say that photobucket pulled my pic of the penis. It said I violated their terms of use. So, even if the moderators here pulled it, it would have been pulled anyway. I'm kinda surprised that photobucket reviews every pic--especially since my account is private and can't be seen by others. Man, they would have to review millions of images. I have a pic of a guy in a shower with his butt showing on photobucket. I guess butt picks are okay--no crack close-ups, though.
I wanted to show my desktop but nothing seemed to work from the suggestions you guys listed. I am using Windows 7 and don't have Paint in my programs but Corel. Anyhoo my desktop has Marilyn Monroe on it.you should be able to hit the "Print Screen" button (near "scroll lock")
