I would imagine you have to get it prescribed to you by a doctor...Here where I live it costs about $1600 dollars for a months supply (30 pills)

 hope this helps.

It's a very expensive medication but there are ways to get it if you need it, depending on your particular circumstance. Obviously you  need a prescription from a doctor. As far as paying for it,  if you don't have insurance there are programs out there that can help such as ADAP.

If you can be more specific as far as your situation it would be easier to give you more specific advice.

I would be very careful about getting prescription drugs over the internet. Are you sure these drugs are effective ?

Kagome, if you tell what country you are in, people here might have good information for you.

Hey Yuki

The site you directed us to is a pharmacy in India. While there are some reliable pharmaceutical firms in India, in fact some that manufacture meds sold in the United States, the site you listed doesn't mention which firm makes the meds.

As Ray say, without knowing precisely who is making the meds and whether they are a reliable source, it is hazardous to buy HIV meds over the Internet.

I am not defending the prices charged by big pharma, but the site also blatantly states it sells cheap because it flouts international patent law.

If I were to buy my meds from such a source, I would first do some serious investigating.

Hey Kagome,

As others have said, if you would let us know where you live, we might be better able to offer suggestions. Here in the U.S., Atripla, or any other HIV med, is available by prescription only. You cannot buy them without a prescription from a doctor.

HUGS,

Mark
