I was born under the 1st sign of the Chinese Zodiac.

The Rat:.. Sounds awful, but..we are charming, elegant and clever, we can be a bit gossipy and prone to being distracted, we are also thrifty and very good with handling money, family and close friends are exceptionally important to us.

The Rat is charming beyond words and throughout his/her undoubtedly long life he will always be popular and will have many friends.

7th Chinese Zodiac Sign: Horse – 马

Fun, charming and attractive sums up the Horse’s traits perfectly. They love parties and crowds and being the centre of attention. They can also be egotistical, hotheaded and impatient. The Horse is a considerate and protective friend and partner and when in his company, there will always be excitement around the next corner.

Nothing about that describes me at all. It does however describe the type of man I am attracted to.

Happy New Year Sean.

Ha.. it's interesting an app like this would come from Australia, and a city government no less. With the Western astrology zodiac signs in total confusion the Chinese one may come as a good substitute.

We're preparing a family dinner for tonight, which is Chinese New Year Eve, a time for family gatherings. If there's any luck that would be how I look like tonight..  ;D

As I'm sure you know though, lots of Chinese in Sydney. Chinese New Year is quite a big event and participation quite broad. There are new year banners up all through the city with the stylsed 2011 rabbit.
As for the picture in your post, mmm, wabbit in wed wine weduction sauce. yummy! is it kocher to eat the current zodiac animal?
ps. i had a roo burger on australia day. munching on the coat of arms is OK.
pps. i also went to see an exhibition about Qin Shihuang and the terracotta warriors. Amazing. And, of course, there is also an app for that http://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/exhibitions/first-emperor/

Enjoy your family meal.
恭喜发财
