viread advice
« on: January 31, 2007, 04:53:59 am »
I am currently on sustiva and combivir but my doc wants me to get off the azt in combivir because of the negative effects it is causing me.  I will continue with 3tc (epivir) but will replace the azt with viread.  Also,  I will continue with sustiva.

My doc said I could take the viread/epivir/sustiva all at the same time before bed.  Do you think this is wise? Anyone on the same cocktail...and if so what sort of side effects should i expect from viread?

thank you for your advice.  i will also do my on investigating.  cheers.

You ought to look at Truvada which is Viread + Emtriva.  Emtriva is very similar to Epivir.  Check out the information at https://www.poz.com/drug/truvada.  It means only having to take two pills at night and you're done for the day.

I take both at bedtime and have had great results with the two.
