Title: 25th Annual AIDS Walk - Charlottesville, VA
Post by: spinthis on August 15, 2011, 10:04:05 am
Hello Poz.com Family,

I am participating in this year's 25th Annual Charlottesville AIDS Walk to benefit AIDS/HIV Services Group (ASG) of Charlottesville, VA.  In rural Virginia, as in many places across the country, funding for services is extremely limited.  With nearly 900 Virginians on ADAP waiting lists and many folks in my part of the state travelling over an hour to access care funding is more important than ever.  The AIDS Walk is a major source of funding for the agency.  The agency has set a goal of raising $25,000 this year and I've set a personal goal of raising $1000 for the cause.  Please consider making your donation by visiting http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/robertrodney/aidswalk2011 (http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/robertrodney/aidswalk2011)

You can read more about ASG in a recent "Thebody.com" article by clicking http://www.thebody.com/content/63182/hivaids-organization-spotlight-aidshiv-services-gr.html (http://www.thebody.com/content/63182/hivaids-organization-spotlight-aidshiv-services-gr.html)

or by visiting the agency website http://asgva.org (http://asgva.org)

Thank you!
