California...Hope it has not been swept away
« on: December 22, 2010, 10:51:53 pm »
Here's hoping our friends in California are OK after all these rainstorms, we have had a run of bad weather in the west and some towns out west are in dire need.

The weather has been crazy, a big snow storm in England as well, hope our friends across the pond are holding up too.

I'm with you Jody.

I hope all are well on the West Coast.

While we haven't had the problems L.A. has had, we are getting the same storms here.

It has rained for the past three days - almost constantly. We live in the desert and aren't used to this.

I told some of my Navajo friends to stop with the rain dances already!

They laughed, but I was sorta, kinda serious.

HUGS,

Mark

It is known, When ABC, NBC & CBS all send a news team from San Francisco, there will be a flood within 12 hours.  At this time there is a river level of 13' at Guerneville w/flood stage at 32'.

Not known to the news teams of ABC, NBC & CBS but known to every person who has lived on the river for 1 winter... If it rains for 36 hours straight, the lower levels of Guerneville will flood at 5th and Mill Streets even with the Russian River below 32'   ;D  Have the best day
Michael
