I screwed up and I'm scared to deth

Hi. 35yr old male who made a huge  mistake with 2 TS sex workers in the Red light district of Amsterdam. I gave unprotected oral sex to both of them for around 5 min each. I received anal sex from them with a condom, one at a time not a 3some. I have had some symptoms that are more than likely due to stress but just freaked out. The encounter was November 12th. I used a Oraquick test at 4.5 weeks  and 7.5 week that both came back negative. I had a little bit of a sore throat and the medic where i work put me in penicillin. It looks to me that i have some thrush on my tongue. No lesions but it is kinda white. I have also read that the penicillin can actually promote thrush. Should I be freaking out or am I ok. I plan on taking another oraquick test in around the 7th of Feb or should i be looking to get a blood test done. Any ways I know I screwed up and I am scared I am going to pay for it the rest of my life.

You have not had a risk for HIV, HIV is sexually transmitted from unprotected anal and vaginal sex and you used condoms for the anal sex . You are correct that antibiotics can cause thrush ... thrush is not specific to HIV anyway . You never had a risk and if you did a negative HIV test at 6 weeks rarely ever changes when confirmed at 12 weeks ... so it safe to put this behind you and move on .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thanks for your reply. I am slowly bringing my anxioty under control. I will still be getting tested for all STDs soon as I can. Once that is done I will post up my results. I am really thankful for all the good advice on forums / communities like this. Thanks again.

I have just talked to my Medic here at work who is an MD. He assured me that my oral thrush was most likely from the penicillin. I ask him to request an HIV test that he could perform. That will make 10weeks so. Hopefully that will put my mind at ease. I will post up what results are as I am fairly certain that they will be Negative but I need the reasurance.... I know that is ridiculous but most of us are.
