Please Help Urgently, I cant stop stressing or crying
« on: June 05, 2009, 11:32:52 am »
Hi Guys,

Firstly thank you for your help, much appreciated. Here is my situation.

Last night I went to a massage parlour and about 15 minutes before I went I got a nose bleed and coughed up a bit of blood, anyway when I went in I had a shower washed my mouth etc etc.

Half way through it I was fingering the girl who was a tad wet and then put my finger in my mouth. I am frightened that perhaps the blood in my mouth from earlier may have come in to contact with her vaginal fluids on my finger and cause HIV.

Maybe the cells in the HIV in her vaginal fluid could have come in to contact with any left over blood that could have been in my mouth and the cells could have an easy route for HIV infection.

Can I please get your help asap. I am terrified.

You were never at risk. Take the time to read the lessons on transmission.

Rod thank you for your response, I am not going to be one of those people that keeps questioning your answers but can I please just ask these questions for my piece of mind.

I have read the transmission lessons and was still needing a second opinion as i was scared.

I am looking at it this way that in my mouth there was blood that gives the hiv something to grab on too, where as with a normal no risk headjob there is only seamen and nothing for it to come in to contact with hence not causing anything

Do I have a slight point or could I be right?

4, Please be honest do you see any possibility of this occuring ?

Kindest Regards

Help, you're mixing up a bunch of bits and pieces of quasi-information which have absolutely no basis in HIV science. No matter what you throw into the mix of this recent incident, you were in no way ever at risk for HIV transmission.

HIV is a fragile virus. The only way it is proven transmittable sexually is through unprotected intercourse. Fingering, masturbation, giving and getting oral and any combinations thereof are not risks for transmission.l

Period. End of story. Get on with your life.

Andy, Thank you, I will try and let go after this.

What is Quasi information? is that another word for incorrect ideas

And am I right in assumong that because there may have been a little bit of left over blood in my mouth and maybe some HIV in her wetness and I put that in my mouth, Wouldnt that make it easier to infect as 2 fluids combined, can you please explain if I am way off here?

I thought HIV looks for a cells to grab and wouldnt the blood in my mouth if there was any provide that?

Regards

Once again thank you.

help,

Hiv has to get into your bloodstream (veins and arteries), not into left-over blood in your mouth following a nose-bleed. Saliva contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. You were NEVER at risk in this situation.

I thought I could let this go but its still affecting me very much so mentally.

May I ask a few more clarification questions to help me?

1, Does there have to be a certain amount of virus for it to take effect or can just the slightest amount do it? as in the vaginal fluid.

2, how often or what are the statistics on rare situations like this off hiv occuring?

I am just a little worried that after I swallowed again and if there was vaginal fluids in any blood in my mouth it would of gotten in to m system.

Sorry for going again guys im just terribly depressed.

Kindest Regards

You seem to want a certain kind of quantification of risk and statistics which we are not prepared to get into with you.

How much clearly can "no risk" be said to you?

We're now talking about your fears and feelings and nothing based factually in HIV science. If you can't let go of this then you ought to get some professional help about it. We can't offer that in this setting. I can tell you that you can't keep coming back here with more questions about a non-risk situation just because you "can't let go of it." Your doing that will earn you a Time Out from the site.

There's no cause for futher concern on your part nor any need for testing. Period.
