Ain't no shame to my game.
« on: April 02, 2011, 12:37:19 am »

Last night my wife stood me up after we were supposed to spend the night together.  Jonesing for some loving and thinking it would help me sleep I decided to whack off.  Boy was I in for a surprise!  When I came I noticed it looked brown, and not surprisingly, I kinda freaked out.  Upon further inspection though it was quite clear what it was-- blood in my cum.

Since that, my left testicle is becoming increasingly tender to the touch, and it seems to be getting progressively worse.  On a scale from 1-10, I would say the pain right now is a 3.  I don't know if I am still cumming blood because I can't seem to get the mind in gear with this pain and blood factor thing.

I am going to see my doctor on Monday as long as the pain does not get worse.  It literally feels like I am recovering from getting kicked in the balls.

Any ideas  what could be causing this?

A little blood in cum is useally nothing to worry about , its kinda like blowing your nose and finding a small amount of blood from a burst capillary or something . I would go to the doc if my balls were still hurting in a day or two .

Well justice would be served, that's true.

Could also be epidydimitis (caused by any number of things - gono, chlamydia etc).

Why not post glorious colour pictars of your diseased toilet parts and let Living With play doctors and nurses?

I wanna see if you have dreads "down there".

Hematospermia (blood in semen) can also be a symptom of an infection (like chlamydia, herpes, cytomegalovirus); or inflammation of the prostate (prostatitis) or urethra (urethritis); or calculi (stones similar to kidney stones) in the seminal vesicles or prostate; or polyps in the urethra; or ejaculation-duct obstructions

it is gets worse this weekend, go to the ER. If it doesn't get better, see your doc Mon. ;)

Dr Moon says this is no more than a classic case of rancid blue balls.  Wank it again and you'll see how errthing is ok. If not please consult a real physician.

Thanks Mikie.

Last week I double dosed my Truvada and Viramune by accident.  The next day I was pissing like a race horse and it felt like it had crystals in it.  It was a similar feeling from when I was on Bactrim and had just started Atripla after getting a diagnosis of AIDS.  At the time they (doc) said my liver enzymes was elevated and I almost had to stop taking the meds.

The constant urinating went on till yesterday as a matter of fact.  And it pretty much has stopped all together.  I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it.

Matty, you have no idea how important my elephant is to me.  I've tried to maintain the humor on the forums but it's a little difficult.  You do make me feel special when you call me Tommy though, my moms called me that.

perhaps that's the reason. maybe something scratching and scraping (ie calculi in the seminal vesicles or prostate; or ejaculation-duct obstructions) caused some bleeding which you noticed when you ejaculated.

egads though. :o Nobody likes their winky to bleed though. :D Hopefully this is a temporary thing and it's already been flushed out and this was just some residual blood.  ;)

Skeebs-
Had the same thing happen a number of years ago. Scared the living shit outta me. Went to the doc, turned out it was Chlamydia :o. But my nuts didn't swell up though that I recall, so it's best you're getting to the doc and get it looked at.

Please don't wait to go to the doc, the swelling of an "egg" is probably epididymitis. have had it multiple times about 20+ years ago. ended up in the hospital with the ur doc wondering if he was going to have to remove it. ice helps with the swelling and the pain. but get to a doc before it gets worse. and btw it's not just std's that cause epi it can be a little urine backs up the wrong canal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epididymitis

Something about how this exact same thing once happened to Larry Birkhead.

Well, after a night at my apartment, I noticed what looked like blood all over my face, hair, sheets, curtains, and even my dog.  I thought he just made a mess eating my cherry pie I had so delicately prepared and wiped his hands everywhere.

That was an experience.   About 5 people touched my balls, and I must say, ultrasound gel feels really good down there.  I have both  UTI and bladder infection, along with chemical epididmytis.  I am feeling better however, there is still pain.   They gave two antibiotics to take along with 30 percocets.

I am so glad I didn't wait because the doctor said it would have gotten much worse if I did.   I probably should have went sooner.  The doctor said it's possible for this to be a reoccurring problem down the road.  I hope not.

Glad you're home and on the road to less pain. Triple header! Did the doc suggest anything you can do to prevent, or help prevent, a recurrence?

WOW, what a kick in the balls. Sorry couldn't resist. You might want to check about drinking cranberry juice, my wife used it for urinary tract infections.

Just got over a case of epididmytis myself.  By far the most pain I have ever been in!!!  Layed in the hospital bed in tears till the paid medication kicked in.  Seven days on lamictal did the trick.  I only got about 15 vicodin for my pain.... :(  Take all those antibiotics!!!

Thanks Em,  Triple header is right, my first time too.  A female doctor in the ER joked with me about this being one of two reasons why men bring themselves to the ER.  I didn't ask what the other was.  I bet I would have asked after the morphine though.  I saw a urologist at the hospital and I have to see him next Monday.  I am definitely going to ask if there are ways to prevent this from happening again.

WOW, what a kick in the balls. Sorry couldn't resist.

LOL   To be honest it's just like that, but worse.  It got so big at one point that it was 3 times the size of the other testicle.  When I was 14 I knocked myself out after smashing my balls on the gas tank of my motocross bike and this was worse than that.

Man, I could have lost the whole damn thing maybe if I had waited till Monday!   :D

glad they admitted you and now have something to combat it. it's the worst pain, if childbirth is anywhere close i wouldn't trade being male. try and stay away from spicy foods and for some reason my doc told me wine? why i'm not sure. my overall experience lasted about a year with a bout with it about every 4 months. my doc actually said that my right egg is now for all purposes not functioning. i know tmi, but i think it helps to know potential outcomes, that was never discussed when i was being treated. make sure you take all the antibiotics. hang in there it will get better but it is slow.

It ain't healing as fast as I would like, and I found out today why the doctor put me on bed rest.  I needed to get some dog food for the dogs and the venture did me in.   By the time I was done, my left testicle was more swollen and sore as hell.   I could barely sit in the car seat to drive home.

in your condition, I would advise you stick with soft, furry animals.
Ask you doctor about it, I'm sure he would agree.

Man, I just can't imagine.  I wish we all lived closer to each other, so we could help each other out with dog food runs when stuff like this happens.  Woods, you live a few miles from me.  If you ever need anything, let me know.  My phone number is in my facebook profile.  Thomas, no one on here lives near you?  We were actually suppose to be in Florida this week for Spring Break, but decided not to go.  I would have come nurse your ball for ya.  I hope ya feel better soon.  From what the nurse said, many men have this happen regardless of HIV?  It does make a guy squeamish just thinking about it.

Rest your balls.  If you have folks in town, give them the guilt trip to come do stuff for ya.

yeeeeeeee  ikes!  Skeeb, I had something very similar a few years ago--caused mostly by Naproxin related stones.  Damn painful.

Hope your chumleys chill soon.  Rest is the key.  I even resorted to ice packs.

Funny story about my care for said mashed-taters:  I was in the ER where they constantly refer to patients by their presenting issue, ie. "Cardiac in curtain 4" etc.  I'm standing behind my curtain, disrobed as directed (not sitting--you KNOW why) and as she opens the curtain the nurse says" This is enlarged testicle in curtain 3".  At that point a nurse, female doctor and myself are all starring at eachother with my John Thomas and twins free for world view.  So I said, "Well, things are large, but I doubt they encompass my entire being.  HI, my name is Marco"  ;D  After intial exam she insists it's an STD, to which I state that I KNOW it isn't and ask for another physician.

Tender bits  :D well I prefer "family jewels" but I guess I can't really say that, as I've never had any kids, but I always call them "my boy's"  ;D

happy to hear you are doing better skeebo.

Thanks Dee

now that it's been a few days, how is your ball? have you been a good boy and did you rest up some? What did the urologist say, anything more about your condition? And finally, do u still have percs left? LOL

It's doing much better.  There is still a little bit of pain when I move wrong and while the swelling looks like it's completely gone I can still feel some in the anterior portion of the  testicle.   I see the urologist on Monday at 2 pm.  And yes, I have about 20 percs left.  They should come in handy for those late Friday night toothaches that hit making it damn near impossible to get help.

yeeeeeeee  ikes!  Skeeb, I had something very similar a few years ago--caused mostly by Naproxin related stones.  Damn painful.

The ER was staffed by nothing but women and I loved it!  The ER doc, a lovely lady, treated me with such dignity and told me there were a number of things that could cause this and that she was going to hit it hard to make sure all the bases were covered.  Because of the information I gathered here from hearing about epididmytis,  when those words rolled off her tongue-- I just knew, my wife left me because she was having an affair.   So I fumed for the first night over thoughts of everything she's told me.

Well, my doubters earlier in this thread left out a few other causes conveniently, like the fact that this can be caused by the backflow of sterile urine.  As the doctor explained it, I  already had the bladder infection along with the UTI, this just added to the backflow being more toxic I suppose.  This was all told to me on Sunday before release.

Backtrack to Friday night and I angrily told them to test me for everything.  The ER doc didn't think it was needed because of no discharge or something she said (this was after the morphine).  I told her no, my wife just left and I can't figure out the reasons.  At this point I started choking up a bit (blame it on the morphine), and she conceded.  Well, the results came back on Tuesday so I still can't confirm  what the wife's reasons are.

What she did while I was in the ER broke my heart for some reason.  I just felt so lonely in there, I haven't been that sad in a long time.    I think I cried over the phone with Trey (hellraiser) at one point but really can't remember, it may have been Danny (Dancerboy).  I'm grateful to both for showing concern, it really helped lift my spirits.

Ok I remember reading this thread with interest and horror at the thought of cumming blood.  Umm, yeah so now it has happened to me, starting last night.  I thought maybe I was mistaken so I took matters into my own hand this morning and again, blood.  My regular Dr is on maternity leave (selfish bitch)..ha, so went to a local urgent care.  I am in no pain whatsoever and the Dr found no blood in my urine.  For now he put me on Cipro just in case it is an infection but I am getting a scrotal ultrasound on Thursday. Of course as anyone would be, I am worried.  He mentioned tumor, possible infection, and epididymitis.  In addition he wondered if my scrotum was always so retracted..I was like, yeah especially when a stranger is viewing them under bright light in a cold room.  He was actually a nice Doctor which was cool.  In the meantime I am taking a vacation from jo!  Ok I am done venting.  Thanks for listening.

Joe
