Should I be concerned?
« on: March 21, 2013, 01:18:39 pm »
A few weeks ago I had an encounter with a guy of unknown status.

He gave me a blow job, and i had planned on giving one back (never did it before) put my mouth on his penis once and decided i didn't want to (because i coughed). He fingered my ass for about 10-15 seconds before i told him to stop and I didnt like it.

(I never touched his penis besides that brief mouth-encounter, and i never let his penis get anywhere near my ass.)

He also jacked me off before giving me a blow job, if that makes a difference.

We both came on his stomach, me first, him a few minutes after. After that i got up and got paper towel and whipped it up, can i become infected maybe if the collection of semen somehow dripped on my penis?

That is all we did, and sometimes i let it go in my head, and sometimes i jump to wild possibilities that I got infected by this. Just looking for someone to tell me that my story in particular wasn't a risk so i can move on.

Do i need to go buy an Oraquick because of this?

Thanks!

No you do not need to test for HIV over oral sex.

It is safe for you to move on because nothing you did was even remotely a risk for HIV .

Even if the guy was poz it wouldnot have been a risk because HIV is a fragile virus that is rendered unable to infect within seconds after exposed to air outside the human body .

You absolutely did not have a risk and you do not need to test over this incident .

Wow,  thank you both for the quick reply! I do feel a ton better now just reading it for myself. I do suffer from anxiety/OCD a little bit, so that might have played a part was to why I wasn't assured until I posted my own story.

My only other question (i know it may be dumb, but i'll cover all mental bases so I don't end up thinking about this)

It doesn't make a difference if he licked his finger before fingering my ass .....right? Your opinion is still the same?

No it doesn't make a difference. Saliva is not infectious.

Thank you both SO MUCH for your quick answers, it really did take the edge off. I can tell you guys really take this seriously, and for that I am also thankful.

After reading your answers I have decided NOT to test. Due to my OCD (and a little anxiety), I feel like if i test once, i'll be testing over everything the rest of my life.

Im going to do my best to push this out of my mind, and forget it ever happened, as it sounds like from your responses (and reading other posts with similar situations), I wasn't at a risk anyway. So im going to just let it go, and consider myself negative.

I know this is my third post, and I dont think I can post again, but I'll just say thanks again for your research and forum activity.
