I want to say something humorous. Something like "She should have a condom named after her". Something like "For someone without a penis she seems to have a brain".

But in reality the integrity you have demonstrated over these many years, your commitment to understanding and fairness in even the most stressful times, the obvious demonstration of your basic goodness, have not only made these forums important, but you have also made a difference in the personal lives of so many.

I doubt there are many people who could honestly measure themselves in such a manner.

Words typed from a computer keyboard thousands of miles away from you, just don't seem to be fitting.

I wish you continued growth, peace, and good health.

Nice debut Ann! I can't imagine writing a bio about yourself is easy. Glad your contribution to the team is now officially acknowledge...well it's been officially acknowledge for a while now....just someone forgot to tell the web developer.

I guess you're one of those book folks. The ones where they have an entire wall filled with books. Book folks intimidate me sometimes. I'm always afraid they are going to pull out some random book and start talking about it.

P.S.- This would have been posted sooner, had Alan not beat me to the punch....and now it appears I'm going all the way down the page.

Thank you everyone - I've been nervous yet excited about this ever since Peter asked me for a bio and photo about two months ago. And no, Cliff, it's not easy to write a bio, especially when it has to be under 10,000 words. I ramble.

The photo wasn't easy either because I'm usually the one behind the camera. I kept putting off having some taken but with what's been going on lately, I decided today it was time I got off my butt and give my other half a crash course in digital photography. At least I finally had a half-decent night's sleep last night and the bags aren't too noticable.

And yes, I admit I was dragging my feet because I was going to be oh-so-visible. The idea of being on the About Us page scared the crap out of me. Yeah, that kind of thing gets my butterflys going, but I'm going to stay true to my word and trust in the greater goodness of people's hearts.

Jonathan, you can have all the drumsticks you like, but I'll fight you for the nutloaf. I can't tell you how good it is to see you around.

Eric, you should see me in my astral colours!

RAB, what make you think I don't have a condom named after me? You know how much you mean to me - and you will always be the original, muched loved cat-herder. Thank you for your ear and heart.

Rodney, you haven't lived until you've worked alongside a barechested fisherman in buckle and brace oilskins.

Alan, what can I say? I should be playing that song for you.

Cliff, that wall of books is next to my desk (until I move, anyway!) and it's only a small portion of what I have. By the way, I'm probably more likely (lately, anyway) to pull one out at random and throw it at the computer screen.

I've written a blog to go hand in hand with this further baby step out of the hiv closet. I hope it gives a little insight into my journey.

Um, I don't do diaphanous. I'm more of a Doc Martin's and Levi's kinda woman. The wooded, babbling brook and herd of cats is right on the money though!

My housing situation is still the bane of my existence. I didn't get number 7. I'm still living between my condemned flat and the B&B and probably will be for another two weeks or possibly more.

I have been allocated a third place, but it isn't vacated by the current tenants yet. I haven't had a chance to update on my blog - and besides, I want the blog I wrote last night to stay on top for a few days... if you read it you'll probably understand why. I just wish the hubub of recent days would die down so I could get on with my packing! $:-\$
