You can take a nice big breath right now and let it out slowly. You need to work on chilling out, no kidding.

Doubling up on condoms is not recommended as it can end up causing breakage. But since you know the condoms didn't break then you were protected against HIV in the incident your are worried about. By the way, when a condom breaks it's not a subtle event. You would have known for sure if it had happened.

So there's no need for testing nor for further concern about HIV in relation to this incident.

Really.

Also, just so you know, please don't write all in caps. I understand that you did that because you were anxious to draw attention to your question. But it's considered rude to do that -- like shouting at someone. Using regular typeface is quite enough.

In any case you don't have to worry any further about this incident. You might also find it worthwhile to read the lessons on this site about transmission and testing. You can find a link to those lessons in the Welcome Thread which begins this section.

Take a breath again and get on with your life.

Cheers,
Andy Velez

Shkuja,

You had protected sex and as such did not put yourself at risk for hiv infection.

Shkuja,

You did not have a risk of hiv infection and you do not need to test. Condoms have been proven to be very effective when it comes to hiv infection. As Andy said to you, using two condoms at once can make them break more easily, but you were lucky and yours did not break. You are ok this time out.

If there is a next time, make sure you use only one condom at a time. Please read through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you know the correct way to use condoms. We're not born knowing this information, so get reading.

No risk, no test. No kidding.

Ann
