I think about meth the drug that I was using when I "decided" it would be a good idea to get HIV. I think about how it is destroying the gay community in larger cities. I think about what it was like before I'd never done meth, and wish I could go back to those times.
I think about how sad it is that I can't get a date as is, but if I add the party and play line to my profile, I have all the "attention" I can handle and then some.
For me HIV is 3 pills once a day and blood tests every few months, knock on wood nothing changes much. Given a choice I'd rather be free of all traces of the scourge of meth in the gay community than my own HIV.

CJWAUS: Indeed METH is a substance that has altered the face of our reality in our communities accross America. For the record, it is a Death sentence that is wating to happen. Indeed a solution lies within the person themselves. It is unfortunate that it sometimes takes something on a drastic level to "shake up" that individual in order to regain their awareness of reality vs. illusion to get back on their road to recovery.
When the voice cries out for HELP that is when they want to HELP themselves as this is where the recovery process will start within them. There are a lot of emotional wounds that occur from this and it will take time for those wounds to heal within that particular individual.
HIV - accept it, understand it, communicate it, and maintain it with the effective medical solutions that are available today for us all.

I think about the difficulty of finding a bf or somesuch, a lot - and it has been vexing me mightily. I also have been thinking a lot about HIV and my future. That crystal ball has been cloudy as well. Maybe I should find somethinig else to think about.

Personally I think the more one fixates on the act of finding a boyfriend, the less likely it is you will find one. All of mine have just fallen in my lap in the most unlikely of circumstances... elevators, subway trains, etc.
Then again, I've been single now for five years now so maybe I should start fixating on it.

Being ironically shallow is infinitely preferable to having any sort of publicly stated depth. I'm honest and try not to impress anyone... mostly because I don't have to try. Whoo hoo!
And my hair was dark auburn. It wasn't my color, you're right... but I managed to rock it nonetheless. It is now black and very modish. I have arrived at the apex of awesomeness with my hair... and there are so many people to thank.

I didnt mean to be bitchy. I just wanted to get your attention so you would respond to me. I use to and at some level still am as shallow as perhaps you are because I too want to look as best I can and have the best body. Unfortunately I have other priorities now and don't focus on meaningless things. Why do I consider your shallowness and mine dumb? Because now I know I need to eat better and more nutrititious and if it means putting on a belly and grow a size more, so be it. Why am I not shallow as much anymore? Because I realized that I looked fine without all that covering up and all my shallowness and not thinking I am good enough led me to my destruction. Clothes and hair are nice to have and take care of but I am more focused on taking care of my soul and learning to love myself for whom I am even if it is with a belly and out of style hair.

However, at this moment in life, I am coordinating Hospitals in my area in a unified effort, to open thier doors on national HIV testing day, and offer free testing to the public.....where i live its all rural communities, and it takes a doc's order to get tested...so yeah, this is a big thing.....so far i have 2 counties that have signed up.
