titters... well, it wasn't the drinking that was bad... it was her ordering the drink by it's 'name'.

What a wonderful trip down memory lane...I will have to get my discs out and put one up.

BTW..I don't drink, I posed with the glass just for the photo..it belonged to Trish...honest... ;)..and would you believe, Bailey Trish and Robert bullied me into having more drinks in the club that night.

Claude...the drink was called a "Wet Dream"...see, I can say it now without blushing...that's what Toronto did for me... :D

Thanks Bailey that was fun looking back....can't wait to do it all again.

Hugs

Jan,

freshen up my memory? Was that the same night we had you dragged of that barkeeper in the gay club? I somehow remember you wanting to explain him a "wet dream" was only a cocktail, nothing more.

I am ready  to relive my rebirth from Toronto

Lots of laughter
Loads of fun
Tons of hugs
and yes,
waterfalls of tears... I have saved them for those I am not afraid of showing to.

Geeez Louise, this is a fun thread for a change!

Please enjoy these.

Picture One from back to front, left to right,

Joe Killfoile, Tim/Moffie, Steven (goes with Joe), Dingo Boi/Bailey
Trish, Jan/AnnieBC, Rich/Richinsm, Glenda
Jody, Brian/Quarterhorse.

Picture Two,
My friend Rich.

Picture Three,
Since most of us were fried from days of enjoyment, we all were waiting on the subway platform, and saw this sign on the other side of the tracks, and all most of us could think of was the "GAP" in our minds that seems to be a perpetual side effect of Living With HIV.

Wow!!! What memories?

All these pics have brought back many of the emotions I felt in Toronto.  Bailey, thanks for the memories and I'm soooo looking forward to making many more in Montreal.

Rocky, you devil you... tell them the truth about the "booby" incident -- YOU WERE NOT DRUNK...YOU JUST WANTED TO COP A FEEL & YOU "LOVED" IT. ;D  Tell them what you told me... come on now.  You said..."_______________________________________" (I'll let you fill in the blank Rocky, don't lie now.) ;) :D

I have a bunch of pics that I'd like to post, but I have to retrieve them from my old laptop first... yes, that's right folks, I bought a new laptop and I'm lovin' it.  I'll be back later to post some pics.

Toronto held so many suprises with the greatest being the diversity of people who attended.  To be surrounded by such love and compassion, made some of our events just that much easier.  I can't even describe the power of us gathering at the AIDS memorial, all I remember is I was surrounded by love as I mourned the lose of so many souls.

The gathering to me was less about poz people coming together and instead it was just a group of friends.  We had many good times and I was impressed by how we all looked out for each other.  For those of you who attend Montreal you will be surprised by the caliber of people you are going to meet.  You think that they are wonderful here?  Just wait until we all meet in person.

These gatherings tend to become more that the sum of the parts and they will imprint on each of us, cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

And I get to see you and Lisa and Jody and Jerry again !

Herman, bring a large handkerchief or a large box of tissues, ok?  ;D

i was scared out of my mind when i went up to toronto.  I was going by myself.  I knew, but didn't really 'know' people.  I wondered if i'd fit in.  I'm actually kinda shy (well, till the drinks kick in).

It was the best time of my life.  I felt like I belonged for the first time in a very very long time.

And that is the power of the amg.

When we went to the memorial, I thought it was kind of silly at first.  I didn't understand.  When it was my turn to walk down the aisle, I just lost it and started crying.  I got 'it' at that moment.

Amg Toronto changed my life for the better.  I will look forward to each amg in the future for the rejuvenation that it brings me sharing time and good times with you all.

For a moment there I though Minh and I were the happy couple...always the last to know!  I would have hated to sleep through another relationship.  A more careful reading...and I realized Alan was talking about the pending wedding.  I am very excited about that...it will the first time I have ever seen this kind of wedding.

Talk about the blind leading the blind, but I'll give it a shot.

Ric

There are two ways to post a picture.

1.  As an attachment to a post.  (This is how you would post pictures that are stored on your computer.)

To do that:

A.  click on the "additional Options" link in the bottom left corner below the box in which you would type text.

B.  You will see Attach: (followed by an address box, followed by a button labeled "browse")

C.  Click on Browse, a box will open asking you to enter a file name (for instance if your pics from Toronto are stored as "toronto 1/toronto 2"  etc. in your "My Pictures" folder, click on the one you want to attach.

Then click on "open"

D.  The properties (or whatever the correct term is) will automatically appear in the Attach: box I mentioned in "B"

2.  You can also include a picture in the body of a post (these however must be pictures that are currently someplace other than your computer meaning they are already on the WWW)

To do that:

A.  Click on the 2nd icon from the left on the bottom row of the options just above the smiley faces (it will say "insert image") (I'm talking about the stuff located just above the text box you'd type in.)

B.  The letters "img" enclosed in brackets will appear followed by the letters img (preceeded by a /) in brackets.

C.  In between those two sets of brackets img (bracketed) and /img (bracketed) type the "properties" of the photo you want to include.

O.K. I know I've screwed this up, and I know someone smarter than me could have presented it better, but it really isn't that hard once you do it.

Trust me, I a computer fool too!   ;)

i am notoriously bad at naming names, simply because i'm usually *hic* too drunk to remember.. hell, even sober i wouldn't remember most.  Just not my thing.

I'm glad this thread is going well, it is what i intended it to be.  the power of AMG

simple pictures cannot connotate the power really behind it and the meaning, but gives a slight glimmer.  Belive me, it was soooo much more.
