I moved to California in early 1980 and by late 1981 I left Los Angeles and headed north to San Francisco.  I was hanging out at the wharf, no place to go, sitting on the dock of a bay was all.  Then some Moonies approached and asked if I was hungry, I said yes and they took me back to an apartment, I think on Larkin or Jones St.  So I ate a bowl of whatever was in a large pot in the kitchen and then when I hinted it was time to go they became aggressive that I should stay.  Finally when everyone went to sleep on these mattresses on the floor I went to the bathroom and sneaked out.

Oy, I am so glad I didn't turn into a Moonie and have to give up the gay!!!

Didn't he start the conservative Washington Times?  Own it, or something?  I suppose I should have googled it first.

Btw, does anyone know the inspiration for our Rev. Moon's name?  Is it the same?  And, our Moon is still in good health, right?

She's around -- I sent her a text alerting her of this thread. Sometimes she goes deep undercover and only I can reach her.

I also think she's working on her doctorate, dissertation time perhaps. Surely most stressful.
