had double dose of Atripla today! will i be ok???!!!

hi guys, i took my Atripla around 10 pm tonight and went for a walk and then when i got back around 11:30, i took another one, will i be ok?!!!!! as i feel dizzy and iam sure i swallowed 2 pills !!!!!

Hey CP,

Other than feeling really dizzy and fuzzy, etc... you are going to be fine. Just dont make a habit of it. You  might want to hang out at home for a bit and not jump behind the wheel of a car, etc..  I would go ahead and call your doc/nurse for additional info.  I would strongly suggest a pill box, that way you would know if youve already taken your dose for that day.

But dont worry, I think the majority of us have done this, including myself.

I agree with the previous post about a pill box, after serveral times of not being able to remember if I took my pill or not and having to empty the bottle out and counting how many I had left I decided to get a pill box, its only for 28 days I have to take a couple of pills before I can put the remaining pills in. I typically wait 3 days so I can have one day empty and I don't take two pills on that day.

Hi cp:

I agree w/ Will - you will have the dizziness/wooziness, but should be okay otherwise.  I have done the same thing - a few hours apart and felt a little bit of "an out of body experience" type of feeling.... you should be fine.  Check with your doc or their call in service (if they have one) if you have any concerns.
