Please help me. i dont know what to do?

Hello everyone. I recently went to a stripclub and recieved a dance from a stripper. She then took my hand and placed it on her vagina. I foolishly started fingering her for about 2 minutes. When i was done i thought i was going to pass out cause i noticed a cut on my finger that i was fingering her with. This wound bled earlier that day when i had got it about 6 hours prior to fingering. It was about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch long. I then put gum in my mouth with the same hand. I ran to the bathroom to wash the cut. I didn't no what to do so i had asked some people who were in the medical field. I spoke with a nurse and she said not to worry but then searched the internet and it seems like i did have a risk. I could not deal with it then decided to go to the emergency room to recieve pep. The hospital did not want to give it to me cause the risk was extremely low. Istill couldnt deal with even a low risk i went to 2 other hospitals after that and finally recieved pep 2 days later at the 60th hour. They perscribed me truvada. I was on that for 28 days. The Dr. almost refused to give it to me but i begged him that i be put on it.The med  has harsh side effects. Here are my questions.
1. Did i recieve pep in time and was 60 to late I heard the earlier the better.
2. What are my chances of testing negative for hiv?
3. should i test?
4. Will i have to worry about infecting my girlfriend?

I also had a few cankersores and constant tingling in my hand for 4 days now I dont know if its stress or hiv symptoms.

You didn't have a risk. Absolutely NO risk. Fingering, even with a cut, is NOT a risk for hiv infection. You did NOT need to take PEP. Totally unnecessary.

1. PEP should be started no later than 72 hours after a risk. You didn't have a risk. The doctor who prescribed it for you went against protocol.

2. Unless you've been having unprotected intercourse you haven't told us about, you will test negative in relation to your NO RISK fingering incident.

3. No, you don't need to test unless you've been having unprotected intercourse you haven't told us about. Fingering is NO risk.

4. Unless you and your girlfriend have been tested TOGETHER for hiv and other STIs, you should be using condoms and condoms prevent hiv infection.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER FINGERING, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

i spoke with a pharmicist and she told me tinglig in hands are related to viral infections lease answer when you can . thank you .

Of course they're unrelated. You didn't have a risk! The pharmacist you spoke to left out the fact that tingling in the extremities can be caused by quite a few different things, not just viral infections.

See a doctor if you feel unwell. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv.

Hello ann i know your very educated in dealing with all hiv questions. As you already know from my previous situation i fingered a female with a small scab on my finger. You said hiv was not a risk. I am now a little concerned about hepatitis and herpes through cut by fingering. I did not notice any lesions on my hands and not on my penis after the incident. Should i be worried about these stds also. If so when i was on pep would it have fought against hepatitis also. Please get back to me thank you for your time.
