Hi,
First i'd like to thank everyone who takes time out to anser peoples questions. About two months ago I had performed/performed oral sex with another guy with no ejaculation, then a few nites ago I had oral performed on me with ejaculation,andd i was the insertive(top) with a condom for about a minute,and deep kissed.After the first oral episode Ive had a red rash almost like ring around the collar on my neck that started to appear about two weeks after this episode and is still here.I went to my doctor(urgent care) and he said he thought it was a allergic reaction and gave me a shot of something and some antibiotics but they did not help.Could this be a ars rash? I'm terrifide that i could have gotten hiv from these incidents, I'm also uncircumcised.Before all this happend I was tested hiv neg.So my question is how worried should i be? Do I need to test over this? And could this rash on my neck be ars?

NO, that rash is not ARS.
Having oral performed on you is zilch for risk of transmission. None whatsoever.
As for giving oral, particularly without ejaculation having taken place, the risk is more theoretical than actual. Although it's a very common sexual activity, tere have hardly more than a handful of cases reported of transmission in that manner and even those have not been solidly proven. There is much more evidence that it's not risky, but you have to decide what level of risk you're comfortable with.
I don't see any cause for concern nor for testing over these incident. In general we do recommend that anyone who's sexually active ought to regularly have a full STD panel done at least annually and every six months would be even better. Other STDs are much easier to catch than HIV.
As for your symptoms, if they persist you should discuss them with your doctor. This is not an HIV situation.

From what you describe, my first recommendation would be for you to change detergents. I suspect your doc's analysis may have been correct and you are having an allergic reaction to something. Having it be that localized makes it seem more like a tactile allergy than one from something you ingested. If you are allergic to some soap or detergent- or perhaps to something like wool that you keep exposing your skin to frequently, this rash would continue regardless of any antibiotics.
That above is a whole lot of useful information in addition to this: No, I wouldn't be freaked about HIV and ARS from what you described. This doesn't present an HIV scenario in my belief.

Try a non biological washing powder and using unscented products. Less chance of a reaction.
I will say,without scaremongering, that is worth getting these things checked,(sorry,teaching granny to suck eggs here).
Be well, be careful and be safe, if you don't take any risks,you won't have to worry, (and stress in itself can cause skin reactions)

No, she means whenever there is something worrying you about your body, you should go to the doctor. We cannot diagnose you over the internet and you cannot diagnose yourself. Your rash does not sound hiv related, but any rash that sticks around is worth going to a doctor/dermatologist for.
As you have been told, getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection. Becoming infected through giving a blowjob is very rare.
There have been long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one. This shows us two things. One, condoms are very effective for the prevention of hiv transmission. Two, oral sex is much lower risk than previously believed. We now have the evidence that oral sex is a very low risk activity where hiv transmission is concerned.
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

my friend was mis-diagnosed with his rash; doc attributed it to detergents
turned out to be Syphillus (sp?)
go get a test!! and maybe a shot.....

If I did get Syphillus would that raise the likelyhood that I also contracted hiv?

A generalised rash can be a symptom of SECONDARY syphilis and it would not have shown up so quickly. You would have had a lesion first, which is quite different to a rash.
Why don't you just take your rash to a doctor and get a diagnosis? If your general practitioner can't give you an answer, go to a dermatologist. We cannot diagnose your rash here.
If you're worried about any STI, go and have a full sexual health check up.
As for the presence of syphilis increasing your chance of hiv infection, it's unlikely unless you got the syphilis through unprotected intercourse.
