AIDSWalk
« on: July 15, 2008, 03:32:33 pm »
AIDSWalk was this past Saturday. The weather in the morning was great and Franklin Park was the perfect setting for this year’s walk. We started 5-10 minutes early to get a head start on the crowd. By the finish most had passed me along the way but for me it wasn’t about finishing first it was about FINISHING! Like a new friend from Norway told me these boots are made for walking and on Saturday I walked all over PML.
The event raised over $70K for Central Ohio AIDS Service organizations serving all of Ohio. I raised $635 and Jeffrey raised $1,450.

Alan, Paul, Peter, Betty, Iggy thanks for your replies and support. It was truly a great day! Here is a picture of a permanent red ribbon flower display at the park.

Now if I could just get my cd4 up it's down another 10 to 153. VL is still undetectable after 3 years so Se La Vi

Jeff, thanks for showing us the picture of the flowers.  That is just absolutely gorgeous.  And thanks for the pic of your tatt also.  I have eight myself, although small ones, and I love a good tatt! ;)
