Poz musicians network?
« on: August 31, 2013, 06:23:31 am »
Just curious: does anyone know of an existing network of support for Poz folks in the musical performing arts? I'm interested not only in tapping into a specialized support community, but sharing stories of the joys, benefits, challenges, etc. For example, performing and performing in public can be rewarding and cathartic, but often requires an openness and vulnerability. Then too there are practical issues of health care, effects of illness, body image, etc.
So...anyone?

Not aware of such a thing but it's definitely an interesting idea.  I'll be watching to see what responses there are.  (I'm a free-lance symphony musician)

Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping for some feedback but may be a long shot. I'm a classical vocalist. I'll stay tuned (yuk yuk).
