What an amazing year
« on: June 09, 2011, 04:06:39 am »
So a little over a year ago I was admitted to hospital because I couldn't breath too well. Finally given the PCP dx, then HIV, then AIDS. another month in hospital and 2 months before I could get back to work. Months and months of strange fevers, even stranger infections and many hours sleeping from pure exhaustion.

Today I feel great, am back working even harder than before and today was accepted into a postgraduate law program. All thanks to a few pills I take twice a day. not sure what the point of this post is but though a little good news is good to hear sometimes. Especially considering all of the evil that this little virus has heaped on so many before.

Screw you HIV. We may not have a cure yet but we're surviving you. We win.

I like the fact that you are feeling much better... and I like your closing statement.  Thanks for posting.
