Checking in after a year's lapse of logging on... =\
« on: July 31, 2007, 03:51:31 am »
Hello Everyone,

Hope that everyone is doing well. I haven't logged on here since June or July of last year. Not even sure if anyone would remember my screen name or picture.. of course i'm getting older here... LOL (30 at the end of Aug)

Alot has happened since i was on here last... Single again    :'(    Went back to school   :D   finished the first half of my degree with a 3.89GPA   :D   Accepted to and attending the University of Michigan this Fall    ;D

I feel somewhat at ease lately.. haven't always got along with my family, esp mom... but we're talking and visiting and even traveling together.

Now is when any one of you can slap my hand and scold me... i've also had a bit of a lapse in seeing my Dr.
I know that there's plenty of options for me, but as a result of the recent turmoil in my life... breaking up with my partner.. etc  i haven't really had my priorities in order. I wasn't always the best partner to him and we had our issues, but i am still not over him or the fact that it's all over. The relationship ended in Feb/Mar... right around that time.

Back to my non-Dr visits... as of my last visit to the Dr. my counts were all going in favorable directions. I know i need to get back on track with this routine...

Anyway... alot has happened, my 2 year anniv (?) just passed on the 8th. Some things are going well, some aren't...

That's all for now... good to see all of you again...

HUGS

How are ya? It sounds like you are getting your house back in order by the things you have accomplished thus far. Just add seeing your ID doc as one of your priorities especially since you have been going through some stress from the current break up. Sorry to hear it ended but at least you admit it wasn't all your partners fault. Sometimes people come into our lives for a reason or a season. Not sure if you ever heard that before. Hope things keep getting better for you....

Hey Scott,

Good to see you again!

Now, mister! Consider your hand slapped!  :o :o :o :o :o

You know as well as I do that staying on top of things is important.

Got on the phone and make that appointment. Also, ask the doc to either fax or call in lab orders so you will have numbers to discuss when you see him/her.

Nuf said.

HUGS,

Mark

Thanks Mark,

I've been needing a few people to scold me for not going to the Dr.  :o

I think it's been about 9 or 10 months. I'm assuming that along with everything i've been trying to endure in the last couple years, comes depression.

I've used the term loosely about a hundred times... but during the last months, i've lost interest in alot of things, i sleep alot... think i slept till about 5 in the afternoon the other day. Probably not eating right.  :-\

I know some of my stress is also coming from resuming my education at a different school. I never thought i'd be attending a school like the Univ of Mich, so it's still kind of a shock, as the start date nears.

*sigh*  thank you for those who read... and those who reply. makes me feel better.

sorry for the venting..

take care for now  =)

HUG

Hi Scott

I agree with Mother Mark about going to the doctor.  Make the appointment now!!!

Also, what you describe sounds like clinical depression.  There is help for that and your doctor can steer you in the right direction.  You won't just "get over it" so please talk to him about it.  I did and it made a world of difference.

Pete

You shameless hussey!!!  ;D  ;)

*puts on Mother Hen hat*

You know you should be going to the doctor. We have a saying in the ol' South. "When the going gets tough, pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get on with it."

By the way, Hi :) Good to see you (for the first time, since I don't think you were posting when I joined).
