Jack,

What do you consider "high risk"? What did you do that you felt you needed to test?

If you have actually had a risk, a test at three months is conclusive. You say you tested at ten weeks and that result is not likely to change.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Ann not 10 weeks ,I test 2\4\6\8\10 and 12 weeks,at the 12 weeks(83days) my HIV and HCV antibody are negative. The HIV-RNA and HCV-RNA both <1.00E+03 IU/mL.But some DR in China told me the 6months is OK,so I felt very fear.I want a baby now, I can't wait 24weeks,I need you advic. My CD cell all lower,CD3 cell is 53.60%(66.9-83.1),CD4 is 32.6%(33.19-47.85),CD8 is 15.50%(20.4-34.7),and I has fatty liver.I worried that this will lengthen window time.
My risk is very high (Anal sex with a Prostitute and not have the protection ),so what is you advice? what is USA DR advice?
thanks. Please forgive my English not to be good .

Jack,

You are conclusively hiv negative. You do not have hiv.

None of the things you mention change the window period for you.

You do not have hiv and you do not need further testing.

Congratulations on that happy test result.

You do need to learn from this experience. You can have vaginal and anal intercourse with as many partners as you want to and regardless of their HIV status. But you must do it the safer way which means always, without exception, using a condom everytime. Then you won't have to worry because condoms do the job.
