« on: August 09, 2006, 09:55:37 pm »
Okay, so I lived in Montreal for only six years...but still.

For those of you not going to Quebec City, I'd be happy to show some of you the things you may not otherwise think of seeing.

And I'll have my car!!

Hello Andrew..........Looking forward to meeting you as well.  And since I'm not going to Quebec city
you got my attention.  Marc and I are looking into taking a hot air balloon ride....since the festival is
going on next week.  Marc knows many of the pilots...with his long time association with hot air ballooning.  Personally I'd love to see the city......and take some pictures off the beaten path.  I take it you speak French too? ???

Hi David

Hot air ballooning....that would be a trip. Where is the field/take-off? Is it expensive, or do-able?

We can parlez un peu plus a la meet-n-greet.

Hello Andrew, the balloon festival is in St Jean sur Richelieu.  It actually starts this weekend Saturday Aug 12 and runs thru Aug 20th.  We are hopefully going to go watch the balloons Sunday night on the 20th weather permitting.  This is all subject to change according to weather.  The morning flights are the best but you have to be up before dawn.  We can keep you posted.

Marc
