Hi everyone
I've been with 2 men in the past few months.
The first guy, I performed oral and swallowed his semen.
The next guy, I performed oral a few times in the same night. I gave him oral and he didn't ejaculate in my mouth but then his penis went inside me for a few seconds without a condom and then he pulled out. About an hour later we did the same thing.
Am I at risk for HIV/AIDS?

Have you ever put yourself at risk? Unprotected anal or vaginal sex or shared works with other IV drug abusers?

Unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse are the only confirmed risks for HIV transmission sexually.
Now you mention that you had very brief unprotected anal. Although from what you have described the risk would be very low, I would still recommend that you get tested just to confirm your negative status.
You need to learn from this experience. You can have intercourse with anyone you want to as long as you do it the safer way. That means the insertive partner must always without exception be wearing a condom. Be clear about it in the future, both to yourself and to anyone whom you are with that you don't want to have intercourse unless a condom is being used by the insertive partner. Period.

I didn't have anal. He inserted his penis into my vagina after he ejaculated.

If he put his penis into your vagina without a condom, then don't cancel that test - but make sure you've scheduled it at the correct time. The earliest you should test is at six weeks after the unprotected vaginal, as the vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by this time. A six week negative MUST be confirmed at the three month point, but is unlikely to change.
As Andy says, you need to learn from this experience. You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I re read my post and I need to clarify something.
When I gave him oral, he didn't ejaculate in my mouth but he did on his stomach. After he had ejaculated, THEN he put his penis in me for a few seconds and pulled out.
Not sure if that changes anything.

No not at all. You still need to test.

This is not a complicated issue. You have to remember that ANY unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse is risky. You can have all the sex you want and with whomever you like. But you need to do it the safer way which means that anytime a guy puts his penis into you he is wearing a condom. No matter how briefly, no matter what you think you know about his history or anything else.
A condom is a must everytime.
From what you have described the risk was low but it was still a risk. Learn from this experience and don't do it again without a condom.

Hi again, I"m using my original thread because I believe that is what I"m supposed to do.
I had an encounter tonight and I have a question.
The guy I was with just had oral surgery 3 days ago and we were making out and then I gave him oral sex until he came.
Was I at risk?

What does sucking on his penis have to do with him having oral surgery?

Because we were making out and I didn't know if blood could have gotten into my mouth.

If his mouth is bleeding after three days of having oral surgery he has serious issues. You were never at risk. You and him would not have been making out if he had that much blood in his mouth.

You already have to test because you had unprotected anal sex.

That's good to know.
Now you need to remember for the future that anytime you have vaginal or anal intercourse the guy always has to be wearing a condom. No exceptions. Then you won't have to go through this kind of worrying experience again.

I don't even get why you think the guy having oral surgery represents some kind of risk to you. Kissing is not a risk for transmission.
Getting oral from him is absolutely no risk whatsoever. Giving oral is theoretically a risk but in the real world of HIV infection just doesn't happen that way.
So I don't see any cause for further concern on your part.

No. Oral surgery doesn't make him a risk to you. Period.
