I have just found a new favourite tv show. Actually its one of many favs. It's been on tv for a while now but I just stumbled across it. Criminal Minds. To be honest it's not the best show on television or anything like that but I love one of the characters on the show.
Dr Spencer Reid played by Matthew Gary Gubler.

I've watched the show since it started. I think he is very sexy, there is just something about a guy in a cardigan (don't even get me started about Mr. Rogers).

I loved Mr Rogers. I actually learned to tie my shoes by watching him. To this day I still make two bows like a little kid. :D

Yes, you only make one bow and lace the other string around ... There was some story about a rabbit running down a hole. I really don't remember kindergarten very well but that was how I was taught in school. Fred on the other hand made two bows and that was good enough for me!

I'm not convinced that either of those guys really qualify as nerds. Or, you all have standards that are way higher than mine.

I don't think nerdy is a physical thing. I think it has more to do with actions/behavior and in many cases clothing & glasses. Some guys are very cute but have kind of nerdish apperance about them.
I would put myself into the nerdy type glasses and all (was wearing contacts when the avatar was taken) although I wouldn't put myself in the cute & nerdy type.

I understand what you are saying. I just think both the guys pictured are quite hot wiithout any overtly nerdy features. I should note though that other than the pics, I know nothing of these two guys.
God, the first one is a spitting image of my ex - he'd give me a smack across the head if I told him he was nerdy.

His character is nerdy ... just like Henry from ugly betty. Matthew is too young though I will give you that. Too skinny and he looks kinda tall. (I like them shorter then me). Having said that, I still like looking. :)

Boy, people just don't know when they have a good thing going. Christopher Gorham does absolutely nothing for me but Henry, well, now he's a real looker. If Christopher thinks posing shirtless with those well-defined abs is attractive, he's got another thing coming. I'd say his agent gave him bad advise.
I'll take Christorpher as Henry and Matthew Gray Gubler as he is.

OK, at the risk of sounding like an old perv:
Robert, you are absolutely correct. Henry is definitely a hot man. His photo doesn't do him justice, that's for sure. What's more is he is a very nice man.
Now, as for these "geeky" fellows, Matt Gubler isn't too young for a seasoned veteran such as myself to show him the ropes. I'm sure he's trainable, or is that teachable? I rather like the rough around the edges photo best myself.
Christopher Gorham is OK, but he does look like a juvenile Clark Kent. Maybe its the hair style.

I agree with you completely. Henry is hot ... Christopher is ok. As far as putting on the glasses goes I don't get my picture taken very often. I'll just have to show you in person sometime ;)

This Matthew person didn't really catch my attention the first go around, but the scruffy version did. He looks like a composite of all my earliest little boyfriends. Yay.
And agreed: Despite the abs, Gorham looks even better in full nerd regalia.
