Kaletra and Truvada??
« on: September 26, 2008, 02:16:10 am »
I've been on Kaletra and Truvada for over 18 months, its worked well for me as I've been been undetectable virtually from the start, which was good as the last two combo's had not worked from me, at my last hospital visit the Meds Nurse said as I've been undetectable for this length of time I could probably switch from my usual twice a day regime Truvada and Kaletra in the motoring and Kaletra 12 hour later to taking the lot once a day, I noticed this is not recommended in the drugs profile, just wondered if anyone has changed to one dose

My Doctor said I could take all 4 Kaletra tablets together with the Truvada but that my Kaletra side effects may increase. I chose not to risk it as I had enough of those spliting the dose into every 12 hours. Sorry I can't be much help really.

I was checking out the forums today to ask the same question.
My doc told me that I could switch to a once a day dosage if I wanted to. (even though I am rarely 'undetectable')  I was told that there has been no significant differences noted between a once a day, or twice a day dosage.

Be Well,
Pip
