got to be a cadbury's crunchie...unless I'm feeling ethical and middle class, (or just having a crappy day) in which case I'm holding a green and blacks maya gold bar...with just the right amount of orange and spices.

I don't really have a sweet tooth, but I do like a Chokito too. And cobbers. I know they're not chocolate bars but I have to nominate them as my favourite lollies.

I have a really bad sweet tooth and it's hard for me to pick just one.  It's either Snickers, Peanut Butter cups (does M&Ms w/ peanut count?).

The chocolate in Europe tastes a lot better (pure/not refined).  I don't know the names of the candy bars, but I do love this dark chocolate bar filled with macadamian nuts.

because of this post, I had a total sugar breakdown last night. I went out and bought a Cadbury whole milk chocalate bar. Its real fucking big. I ate it on the way home from the store right before dinner. I also bought a half gallon of Dreyers Light Slow Churn Fudge ripple just in case. I ate about half of that right before bed and passed out from pure sugar shock. What a great life.

Wait a second, A Snickers with Almonds is a Mars Bar Clone...

As long as we're on the subject, I once saw a show on Food Network that mentioned that in England, a popular pub snack was a battered and deep fried snickers or Mars  Bar ??? Does anybody know if this is for real??
At one time it was popular to freeeze various candy bars, at least in the South, The Three Musketeers seemed to be the favorite.  I still like frozen green grapes as a summertime snack, Ive heard of people eating frozen chocolate covered Banannas but, Man that would just be obscene.....

Lwood,
yes, they deep fry mars bars, although I've never seen them on the menu in a pub...usually fish 'n chip shops that serve this particular delicacy.  My local one also does deepfried snickers, milky way, bounty (coconut center)...and pretty much anything else they can keep still long enought to fit in the fryer  :)
Deep fried delicacies tend to become more popular/available the further north you go, until you hit scotland, which is essentially a Nation of Walking Heart Attack Victims...

I went through a weird Frying Phase after we got a deep fryer: pickles, parsley, sage leaves, Avocado, batter dipped ribs, and once  some bacon wrapped scallops. You don't know Decadence untill you Deep Fry bacon. Elvis is smiling down on my Kitchen.  Unfortunately I managed to wear the damn thing out , and right after I found a Batter Pro at Wallgreens too  :'(  :'(   when its replacement arrives, I'll definitely batter up a snickers and give it a plunge before the oil gets loaded up with Calamari Funk...

I forgot about the Moon Pie, (which sounds like a bottomless titty bar BTW)
Remember The Brown Cow ? Id usually get bored after licking all of the chocolate off and it would wind up stuck to a shelf in the refrigerator....And lets not forget the 'Chunky' it once took me three days to finish one of those bad Boys...

Heath bar! I love to savour them. I break it into pieces, suck off all the chocolate, then crunch up the toffee.
Did you really have to start this? My behind is big enough as it is for criminy sakes.

So, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I munch candy/ice cream.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays I guzzle red wine.

I found this candy bar from Belgium... it's called Cote d'Or... the dark chocolate one.

It costs five bucks but is totally worth it.

Nummy treat!

Zero, Three Muskateers, Snickers, Butterfinger, $100,000 Bar, and ESPECIALLY
Goo Goo Clusters (is that a southern thing only?  or are they everywhere?)

I love Rollo -- but that's not really a candy bar is it?  They are chocolate bits stacked in a roll.....

Gosh, they say people resemble their pets, but something about the essence of a person seems to be betrayed in their favorite candy bar as well...

gimme a box of truffles...

when i worked in beverly hills, I used to take a break (or 2 or 3) and walk to Teuscher and buy champagne truffles...

CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!
