does anyone know if there has been any more news on this? I looked online but I couldn't find anything about the blockage of that protein...

This is very recent, so we will probably not hear much about it for now. But make no mistake, this discovery could be the breakthrough the world has been waiting for. It's encouraging that the scientists involved are already duscissing trials, which could begin sometime next year. Onward! J.
