Cy,

It is unclear whether or not you have had unprotected intercourse. If you have, you need to test for hiv at three months past the last unprotected incident.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

If you and your girlfriend are planning to continue in a committed monogamous relationship without using condoms then you both need to get tested at the same time. And it should be not less than 13 weeks after your most recent unprotected incident.

Giving up using condoms is not a decision to be taken lightly. If there's any doubt about both partners being committed to monogamy then you should use condoms. And you should be using them now until both of you test negative.

No, you do not have to re-test at 6 months. THat's out of date information. The CDC recommends 3 months/13 weeks as a safe testing point. In many countries 12 weeks is considered sufficient.

But it's not only you who should get tested if you are planning to not use condoms with your girlfriend. She should get tested at 13 weeks as well so that you both know your accurate HIV status.

Andy Thank you for your reply.

I know also W.H.O. says the absolute test results can only seen at 3 months. I am living in muslim country and some doctors saying 6 months or more for scaring ppl for making sex without marriage.
As I told I tested after 83 days not 90 days to complete 3 months. Should i repeat it for 1 week later, is it need  ?

No, I would not consider it necessary to re-test. You're HIV negative. Period.

Just keep using condoms everytime you have intercourse.

And you're right, that 6 months thing in part is just being outdated, but it's also a scare tactic and in some instances from labs a way of making more money from additional testing.

Very thank you for your advice. I can take a deep breath and turn back to my work i think. Coz i did nothing about some project in 3 months due to psychological  problems. And also remind that I am a web developer in PHP and Mysql Database. I really discover that its really serious thing and I wanna help about growing the web site any time you need.

Also can translate the web-site in my language that people can learn something about HIV who does not have English language .

If you think about it anytime i will be there  ;)
