I am outraged that a single person in the U.S. has to die while waiting to get HIV meds.  These same meds that we are giving to other countries and allowing generics to made in other countries because their citizens can not afford medication.

AAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Our country is helping people around the world to fight this disease, YET is allowing our own citizens to die because they can not afford to buy them on their own.

If you read my reply in "My Take on the Issues" this is another reason why I'm very tempted to get involved in politics, again.

I was not even aware that they have cut funding this bad.  I know that there are many people waiting for ADAP here in Florida.  This is discusting.

Sorry to ramble on.  I'm just furious!

You aren't rambling - just keeping it real! That is why I wrote to that dude from the Red project you know- buy a red shirt money goes to Africa. I suggest every American here also do it . Despite the fact this is one of the richest lands in the world, it's sick are treated like third world illegal aliens.

This is why so many of us are cynical about those who make news on the coat tails of our disease. We need to spread the news that everything ain't so rosy in the US of A and that people whom paid taxes are getting shafted while the ex leader of the PLO can buy bowling allies in NYC!

I never received a response from him but then he probably is out on a shiny new red yacht spreading the news! Where is Bonehead when you need him?
