Testing concern... Late window period? 6 mo
« on: November 15, 2013, 12:54:17 pm »
Hey I have a question that hopefully you guys could help me with, its really eating me up.

Back in april I had unprotected intercourse.... Close to three weeks later I lost all my appetite, had a weird rash, and just felt overall fatigued. The rash was only on my arms and was like raised red a little smaller than an eraser head, about 10 on each arm. these all symptoms lasted for 3 months. But the red spots are still present to this day, but are not only on arm, but back on neck in hair line, and sometimes chest. the spots heal very slow and scab for awhile. I also had bad sore throat for about 2 weeks straight.

I tested at 12 weeks (elisa), 14 weeks (duo), 20 weeks (elisa), then 24 weeks (elisa). You may ask why I kept testing because the red bumps would not go away, then I got penile yeast infection... I am almost 7 months from date of intercourse and the bumps still keep comming.

Have you ever seen hiv symptoms lasting so long? I know you might say 90 days is good at testing but I have seen people say the did the 90 days with no new exposure only to be false negative. I really cant stay depressed any longer about this. I would have been satisfied with the 24 weeks but with symptoms that keep comming that really all seem associated with hiv i cant.

What test can I have now? Im really in need of help guys
