Jello legs
« on: July 16, 2012, 09:32:28 am »
That's the best way of describing an issue i've developed over the last several months.  The first time it happened, I was walking through the bowling alley and my right leg just totally gave out.  Not a feeling of numbness, just like no control or feeling.

I kinda laughed about it and didn't happen again for a while.  A few weeks ago, we were leaving a restaurant, and simply walking along and I suddenly fell because my leg again went to jello.  It's starting to happen more frequently.  It happend again the other night at work and just now again as I walking in the yard.

When it happens, there's no sensation at all.  This time I noticed that my foot twisted sideways before I lost control and fell.  I don't have any other symptoms leading up to this, and am starting to worry that I could have a serious issue if it happens at the wrong time.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Totally new experience for me.

Thanks.

I've never experienced anything like what you describe. Definitely discuss these episodes with your doctor.

My entire right-side ( of my arms & legs go numb) when I'm on my bike for more than an hour or so  :-[

this also happens when I'm in my Truck for more than that length of time  :-\

my doc says it's my sciatic nerve, but I'm not in agreement with her about any this

however when I remove my chain-wallet, this give me some relief  8)

Definitely bring up with your doc.  I get "jello" legs, when I have a lot of anxiety or flustered.  That doesn't seem to be the case with you?  Had you been sitting for a long time and got up to walk?
